WaAlaikum AsSalam, Bro either go with the genuine from Suzuki or get it from Sultan k khoo (rawalpindi) or Bilal Gunj (lahore). Going with the copy or only cover will give a bad look. While applying brakes it will clearly show the difference and if you go with the repairing it still will be visible. Even if you will cover the light after getting it repaired with red decorated sheet it will still be visible when the lights will turned on.

i ve gone through this whole thread. wagonr stock tyre size is 145/80 13r and recommended air pressure is 36 which seems quite high as everyone almost is habitual of maintaining 30 air pressure in their car tyres even the HAWA WALA also has set his machine pressure permanently on 30 and everyone seems ok with it but wagonr recommended is 36. my question is if we have install some bigger tyre like 175/70 r13 then what should be the air pressure. 36 or 30 or somewhere between ???
experts advice needed.

some thing less than 36 definitely, as tyre size improves, psi must be reduced.
I think for 175/70 R13 best would be around 30 ~ 32.

Recommended pressure is wrong, this car was originally introduced with 14inch stock rims in Indonesia and with better tyres, here in Pakistan unfortunately its introduced with 13 inch and 145/80 General tyre which recommended pressure is 35psi so filling it to 36psi will infiltrate the tyre one day. Recommended pressure for 175/70 r13 is 30-32psi and same goes for 145/80 r13 rest its on you!

I have CBU model of Wagon R which Pak Suzuki initially imported before assembling in Pakistan.
They had 13inch GT Radial Indonesian made tyres. So you information is false.

Also 36 PSI is 100% correct tyre pressure. I don't understand why anyone in Pakistan just follow what the manufacturer says. You know better than the people who made the car or they know better?

Now coming towards General Tyre max PSI of 35. It's General tyre's limitation. This has no relation with what's written on door side of Wagon R. My original GT Radial tyres had max PSI of 44. I always filled front tyres 38PSI and rear tyres 36PSI because all the weight of the car is on front tyres. Total life I got from GT Radial tyres were more than 50,000 km.
Recently I installed General Euro tycoon because I wanted original tyre size because original size give best fuel economy.
I keep 36 PSI in General tyres even though it mentions 35 PSI. Now you may panic that I am inflating 1 PSI more than max.

1 PSI won't do any harm because the tyre pressure on door side and max tyre pressure written on tyre side wall is actually pressure for cold tyres. Pressure increase with heat and tyre manufacturer knows this so actual pressure that a tyre could handle is more than max pressure written on side wall. I know many hypermilers who fill 8 to 10 psi more than max side wall pressure they tyre never burst.

In Pakistan, due to road conditions low profile tyres and bigger rims are not advisable thats why PS put 13 inch rims. And for tyre pressure I would say they have written 36 after due research.

For you kind information google Karimun Wagon R, there are 2 different models launched with 13inch and 14 inch so before claiming it a false info better do some research. Owing something doesn't makes someone expert for it Both tyre sizes pressure varies and if you say they should not vary I won't argue with people having zero information its difficult to get along. The company which makes tyre claim max psi level should be 35 but no no I am the Mr. Smart I will do whatever I want bring typical Pakistani thinking "oh bharnay do yaar bhai ko zada pata hai yeh kal ki companiyon ko kiya pata", I will follow what Suzuki would say, what would you say Suzuki recommending the oil for Wagon R which differs from the one specified in the manual? Don't bring weather conditions the argument is on the max psi level. On one hand your following one company recommendation but on the other hand giving a statement about tyre company we can go beyond the suggested level. Your GT Radials were imported and not locally manufactured and there max psi was 44 they can sustain so that is the reason company suggested to have 36 psi. Putting a local manufacture tyre changes everything don't agree but it is a fact. I had Dunlop SP Sports 175/70/13 in a car, got them filled 30 psi and have done 119K and its still running The company General claims don't exceed the psi 35, obviously people can fill upto 40 psi no one is stopping, the waggy will give you extra jumps and the life of the tyre will decreased, Consult with Suzuki even they will suggest you not to fill 36psi, but OBVIOUSLY its upto an individual to do whatever he wants. Keeping a good pressure has so much to do with Good Average too. Now, you have a difference of opinion have it no issues but its better to be practical. You may stick to 36 psi when you start seeing cracks on tyre please do mention over here and I won't be glad.

I know about two models in Indonesia. I know about 13 and 14 inch options. I also agree with you that different tyre sizes accept different tyre pressure. But that's not what I am trying to discuss here.

You didn't understood my point. You were saying pressure of 36 PSI is wrong. I can't believe how could you say manufacturer is wrong? By manufacturer I mean the actual engineers who worked on the car, not Pak Suzuki.

Secondly you said Wagon R came with 14inch tyres originally which was not the case in Pakistan even for CBU units. I informed you about that in my previous comment.

Regarding engine oil, I am simply following what the manual says and i.e. 0W-20. I am not a moron who follow what Pak Suzuki mechanic says.

You know what benefit I get from following 100% owners manual?
1) My car after 3 years drive better than cars that are 6 months old of persons who I know. It shifts better because I use closest possible gear oil grade that manual says.
2) My mileage is insane. I get around 25 km/l from Wagon R Check the screen shot for proof

brother i also notice cracks on 1-2 tyers when i constantly filled 36 for few months so what psi should we fill on stock tyers 32,33, or 35 or 36 please guys lets decide one air pressure

Old rubber gets brittle and has a greater tendency to crack. Cracks are also due to UV radiations. So maintain your tyres with good quality water based protectant after each wash. They won't crack early.

I am not going to participate after this because this is not something hidden. I would simply say just follow what's written on door side.

Bro, if you have stock general tyres going up with 36 psi will be insane, keep 30-32 psi for better fuel average and comfort. If you have some other tyre and if its max psi is above 36 then you may go with 36 psi, rest you may read this whole forum you will have a much better understanding.

General tyres do crack in an year or two if car is parked in sunlight for longer time. That is a problem with General tyres. A good brand tyre do not crack that easily.
