Idle vibration is significant in all 3 cylinder cars, its not a problem with Wagonr. The solution is "idle re-learn procedure" if carefully performed you can achieve idling like any 4 cylinder car. Its a small DIY you can google for more details.

Dealerships either do not know this or just making money by advising throttle cleaning etc etc.

Not an issue in my opinion.
I feel the same tak sound while shifting to 5th gear and it is there since day 1. My car is more than 30k driven. I think there is no need to get worried for this.

I have lost complete trust in Paksuzuki. SNA motors is a 7S dealership and one of the largest in Pakistan. They freaking blew tyres up to 42 Psi !!
One of my car's tyres almost burst open! This is not only very dangerous, but a complete lack of regard. I got 10 punctures on a single tyre. I deflated the tyres to 30 psi.
Dear brothers, is there a way I can contact the Paksuzuki motor corporation headquarters about this mishap, and secondly, what is the optimal PSI for wagon R?

Why did you even let them fill to 42Psi? if your tyres are stock the max level is 35 Psi and even then you must fill to 33-34Psi its common sense. Even if your tyres are not stock in 13 inches the ideal Psi level is 30-32Psi. Don;t go with what's written on the door panel of the car (36Psi) as the stock tyres installed are of General Tycoon with max level 35 Psi punched on them but still people fill it to 36 Psi just because its written on the panel and after sometimes cracks emerge on the tyre. You may lodge a complaint by emailing Pak Suzuki Motor Corporation and write everything in it.

I didn't knew they had filled my car's tyres like baloons. I checked the tyre pressures after the incident.
I am new to driving and vehicle maintenance. I just joined University this year and this would be my commute vehicle. My previous vehicle (cuore auto) had 30 psi in 13 inch tyres. Alhamdullilah, I have brought a 2015 Paksuzuki Wagon R from Paksuzuki Used Car Gala today. 1. Wagon R Warning light indicator: sometimes the warning light indicator comes on during drive. Particularly when I have to shift to a lower gear and then it vamishes after shifting. Is this a gear shift indicator?

2. What is the optimal rpm to drive wagon R in city for fuel economy? I keep between 2-3K. Isn't the first gear ratio very short? I have to immediately shift to second.

3. Where is the temperature guage? How can I know about car overheating?

1. It depends what kind of warning light comes, if a kettle shows up it means engine oil is low, if the hand brake light appears it means brake oil is low.
2. 3K RPM and 60KM/h Max speed along with 30-32Psi in tyres will give you a very good average, however it depends on your travel. If your daily traveling is more then 50KM and mainly on highway then you will surely be getting 15+ average, however if your travel is below 50 and is mainly in city in crowd places or mostly signals then you will get 13+. First gear is always a short shifting gear because it gives an initial boost to car, as its a 3 cylinder car so it will immediately require the next gear.
3. Whenever car will be heat up it there will be a red light (flag type) appear, some says there is a blue light as well if the engine is cold however I have been to places with -3 and more but never ever got a blue light. Always make sure there is coolant present in the water bottle above the mark so that you may never face heating issues.

Some observations about Wagon R:
The hood needs to be closed from a big height. Around 40-50 cm otherwise the hood won't close. It pains a lot when the hood closes with such force.
Secondly, the car shuts down when we try to pick up at low speed from second gear unlike cultus in which picking from second gear was no problem. Again, it maybe because we are not used to the car.

The bonnet is supposed to b shut from a slight height. Closing it with the hand pressure will cause a dent.

Assalamualikum Pakwheelers,

Well, after being a long silent Pakwheeler i thought k kasam tor di jaye. I have been throigh the complete Thread and got alot of fruitfull information.

I recently bought Wagon r VXL varrient 2016 model with ODO 50K in very good condition. Previously i had a cultus 2008 VXRi which i kept 5 years (to be very precise as purchased and sold on exact same date )..
After drove wagon r around 1500 KM's, i have some observations as well as questions which i would like to have answers from fellow PW's.

1- it has a good power as compare to cultus but due to its structure, even driving @120 is a risk because it cant even handle it if Some Buss cross by.

2- It has a dunlop 175/70/13 almost brand new tyres and i got 16.5 KM/Ltr average @ 110 speed on motorway (400km) and 80-100 speed on GT road (200km) in my last trip. Is it ok?

3- i kept air pressure 30 PSI considering the tyre size. Is it ok?
4- which oil to be used? Previous owner was usinf Suzuki Oil i guess 5w30. Should i continue or any suggession?
5- also need suggessions for spark plugs and air filter?
6- Last but not least, their is a minor play in bushes as @120kmph speed, steering needs to be hold tight. I heard that its a common problem, need to know the experience of Wagom R owners...

Well, Picture is not filtered as it took 6 hours of my Hand Job which includes, compound, Polish, 3 coat of Silicon Wax, tyre waxing, Trims sealent and interior Cleaning and sealent.. :D..

Get your bonnet adjusted because it shuts down properly from a minimal height. The denter will just adjust the lock and you will notice the difference. As far as the second gear shift is concerned you must observe on which speed you're trying to pick the car from 2nd gear, cultus engine is slightly advance from wagon r which will have no issues that wagon r engine has. The pick of the car totally depends on the gear shift timing, if the timing is not properly followed car will face issues in pick.

1- Its a Wagon so its shape is designed as per it. Due to the height it will give these issues.

2- Its a very good average

3- Pressure is perfect
4- Continue the same grade which previous owner was using.
5- Air filter is usually changed at 10K, however depending on the current condition if you feel like then change and then make sure to change the next one before 10K. 50K means you must change the Spark plugs as the previous owner wont have changed it or get them clean because you're getting a good average so its okay not changing them. By changing the plugs you may or may not get the same average because now you're getting a very good average.
6- Its a common problem so avoid getting it fixed as to fix it the whole steering assembly will be opened and you won't be satisfied ever after.

I discovered one alarming thing in wagon r that it doesn't have sway bar/anti roll bar. This is very very surprising that Suzuki omitted it for cost cutting despite the fact that its a tall boy shape and it needs extra stiffening of the suspension yet they made it worse by omitting sway bar. All the feel of instability, body roll at cornering and less road grip is due to absence of sway bar.
