Obviously price reduction news is true. Just got quotation from 3s Dealer here from Faisalabad for VXL @ Rs. 999,000.

Good part is, they have slashed freight charges as well, this is even better for people other than Karachi.

21000 was the freight for rawalpindi/islamabad, so thats a cool offer...

means total cost of vxl will be 999000 + 5000 (color) + 20000 (Tax) = 1024000

• registration aswell... dont knw reg cost for 1000 cc in punjab... in islamabad it is around 35000 to 40000...

And it might be a reaction to launch of Faw Vizi V2, in addition to low sales aswell...

faw isnt exactly selling like hot cakes so i dont think there is any pressure from faw ... its just that wagonR it self is not selling that much. I believe they had a horrid marketing campaign.
They should have pushed its fuel economy more
Anyway now with a lower price it should sell more units .. WagonR interior build quality is much better than swift & cultus

I bought vxl in october and i was really shocked today when heard news of price drop by 100k in one go it is proved that pak suzuki doesnt care about buyer money. now people will laugh on me for purchasing this car, suzuki should accomodate the previous buyers by refunding excess money or giving equivallent amount accessories or increase price to same level it dropped within six months and not decrease price drasticly in future

I am afraid they wont, this price change is effective from 1st Jan, so anything bought after 31st Dec will have new price. Have you talked to the dealership ?

As i am getting 2015 invoice so they wrote on Delivery Notice that if price increase u will pay difference. But they didn't wrote that if price decrease we will pay u.

WAGON R prices decreased upto Rs. 90000/- as a new year gift from Pak Suzuki as I come to know today upon main schedule maintenance of 5000Km of Wagon R (VXL) at Suzuki Sethi Motors Lahore.
NEW Wagon R VXL price is RS.999000/- (Add Rs. 5000 for metallic colour). I bought VXL at 1089000/- in Nov-2014

PAK SUZUKI also give 0 (zero) freight charges gift on all variants of Suzuki models in 2015.

So the conclusion is I have got KICK-*** of RS.106000/- as per new prices just after 2 months of getting my VXL model.

brother same issue is with me the company should have checked in first place what price should be before launching car the company should keep in mind pak mentality after price reduction people will say there are issues with a car due to which they reduced price drasticly

if some one interested to own Mercedes Benz 230E 1976,LHD,cng,imported in 90's asking 250k,and 1966 280s require full restoration fitted with 300d engine the guy is asking 100k

Yes exactly they should not have dropped the prices so much, or if they want to do it they should do it on other models too. Actually it a failure of pak suzuki marketing and pricing, they should have priced it right in the beginning.

Lets see how much time it takes for the prices to get back so that our loss gets recovered. This car will now fail because people will get impression that this car has failed and even one year not yet completed of car launching and prices decreased by 100,000.
