Changing sensors without actually knowing what the problem is, will not solve anything. You might as well change the whole engine, it won't solve anything.

Get the car scanned, and find out what the error code is. Once you have done this, you will know exactly what the issue is. Then, you can move onto fixing it. You can change as many sensors as you like, it won't solve the problem if you don't know what the problem is, in the first place.

I have WagonR 60K driven. Suzuki maintained. By past few weeks I was facing fuel economy problem. Took the car to Suzuki. Suzuki guy told that I might be due to plugs and changed them. But problem was there. Last week I visit a Friend's local mechanic he opened the head and informed that in/out tappets / valves are out of adjustments. 4mm gauge can pass through them. He informed that we need to face the head and problem will resolve.

Question is - Is head facing the only way to adjust the hardened tappets / vulvaes ?
Can there be any other mechanism to adjust the tappets ? the Corroborator car's way like.

Head facing at 60k only.mechanic is fooling u.

I don't think so at 60K engine might be needing a head face however, the kind of problems Wagon R giving to some people he might be right. You must visit atleast 5 different people including Suzuki and take expert opinion and then make your mind.

Do so even if your car is not under warranty.

Hi ...dear i was using 28 , 30 PSI from last one year ...but one day i have to travel with weight so i put 32 PSI in my Wagon R . ...wounder full result i fount in pick and avg...it was very great experience ...i am using this air pressure and feeling very good....recommend air PSI 36 also written in Front door sticker ...so its better to put 36 because company recommend it

I had posted here a few months ago regarding installing central locking in WagonR VXR (apparently 1.3Million Rupees aren't enough to buy you that) so recently got around to getting it installed.

Used the following parts:

1. Genuine Suzuki door locks for all 4 doors which come with central locking motors built-in from Sultan Ka Khu/Chah Sultan Pindi. This is what the original lock from the car looks like,the VXL model comes with a similar set. The new ones I bought were exactly the same except they had grips installed in the circular hole shown in the photo.

1. Steelmate 5 Button Car alarm and Central locking control system(bought this earlier but realized I would have to make too many modifications to install these motors, so went for genuine ones). I also did not wire up the "engine cut off" feature of the Steelmate system as it would void the cars warranty.

Total Cost = 3200(alarm/remote) + 3500(motors) + 2000(central locking kit) = 8700 + labor
You cut down the cost by going for a cheaper set of remote and central locking kit.

Overall the system is working great and have not experienced any issues so far. The only drawback so far is that opening/closing the main door lock from inside of the car does not open/close the rest of the doors so I always have to use the remote for that(any leads to solving this issue would be appreciated).

Also added these round foam pads around the speakers which improved the sound as well

Next up I am planning on installing xvl style side mirrors and power windows to the front doors. Just looking for genuine switches like these, if anyone knows where I can get these then please let me know.

Posting all this here so it might help any fellow XVR owner in the future.

Anyone tryied 185/70 R13 on Wagon R alloy rims? I'm using 175 r13 just fine, was curious if I can increase to get better grip and cornering at high speed.

Color code is mentioned under the hood right next to chasis number however, don't go with that code because its for fresh cars, your model is 2016 so the paint person will actually create it himself in order to match the color with the existing color.

the one written under the hood is unfortunately not clear enough to read.. and it is very difficult for the color person to match the color with my 2016 model.. i am changing the bumber bit color match is an issue here in Abbottabad

Bro that color guy won't be perfect then, most of the color guys just matches your color by cleaning any part of your car and then they kind keep on mixing colors in order to match your exact one. For color code you can visit any nearest dealership or maybe suzuki website however, your bumper won't match the rest of the car because as per code the color would be for brand new car while your car is 2016.
