hello all. i want to share my experience. main suzuki show room gia aur wagon r ki test drive li it was awsome power steering was good acceleration was too good paint body every thing was good. then i went to faw show room for faw v2 test drive bhai log zameen asman ka ferq mahsoos hua koi bhi cheez mazay ki nai thi faw ka main nay conclusion nikala kay its like super asia bike vs honda cd 70 bhai china china hi hay us kay specs eye catching hain per i think sirf ear catching hi hain paint third class body felt so not good so thin and door slamed just like mahran when i closed it in nut shell wagon r is way better and i have decide to buy it. i have applied it for lease will get it soon in sha Allah i m from Sargodha and i saw 2 wagon r today . every day more and more wagon r r on the roads.

Not sure if u are saying that on purpose or what but that didn't sound like FAW v2. It is way better than the locally made Suzuki crap.
To be honest, you aren't the only one taken both test drives. Go ahead if u want a Suzuki bolan with a new body but don't do it on the basis of dissing a company which is actually doing pretty good at providing at least a option in the market unlike the ripoff locals.

Faw appears to be a good car ...but really spending over 1 million on a pakistan bound chinese car is risky

i do not under stand one thing have u seen jdm cars so so strage shapes r on the roads u instatntly say oye ye kia cheez hay by looking at them i dont feel any thing strange about its shape.

My calculations are not wrong brother. The copies of import bill of entry together with paid challans of taxes and duties which he gave me with the car suggested that he paid something not more than PKR 200,000 in duties and taxes. I said that I did not remember the exact figure but it was certainly not more than PKR 200,000. That is what I am sure of.

Ofcourse we all know how taxies and duties are evaded here by giving bribe aka chai pani to relevant authorities, and since such expenses are never documented, we can not include them in the cost of car.

i'm amazed, 200000 duty ma tw bike clear ho jaye 250cc-500cc tw barri bat ha, yahan 660cc gari clear ho gyi.

this post is heavily biased and for your kind of info FAW is not Chinese company its partner of Toyota all daihatsu vehicle of 80-90 era was manufactured my FAW

Brothers Faw V2 is not a bad car, infact much better than Wagon R in terms of shape specifications and price. The only problem is Chinese label over it whereas Wagon R is Indonesian import. So if one is looking for a car for long term than Faw V2 is not a bad idea and if thinking of resale than go for Wagon R. In both cases you will get new ride and that too made for Pakistani roads and mechanics ...

I shared my personal experience here about how I was ripped off while buying JDM car and how much duties and taxes were paid on it. In Pakistan, you may get some thing done for free while another person may end up paying heavy for it. This is a public forum and one is not supposed to disclose as to how those practices are done.

Nevertheless, I am not here to convince others to accept that point, else I will end up posting irrelevant replies, not related to this forum. Peace out.

Few days back I was working on installing HUD in Wagon R, butt after a lot of hit and trial I concluded that our Wagon R has only CAN OBD 2 which is the most advance OBD2 system.

Good job Suzuki....

But I can't install HUD because CAN HUDs are not available in Pakistan. And they are hell expensive.
