Seems like an article backed by local car mafia as usual. One thing is however clear, new hybrid car sale in pakistan can't be a success due to high initial cost which will keep the buyers away and they will be flop, only way the fuel import bill can be reduced through this scheme is reduce the import duty to 0-10% on used hybrid cars, allow 5 years old hybrid cars and provide the expertise services and parts specially battery at low cost. New car sale will never be more than 10-20 units a month(after the initial sale of may be 100 units/month for few months) and the scheme will be a flop. This is a writing on the wall.
