guys this was so weird! my practice kart was handling totally different from the qualifier kart! practice went like a dream but spun out in the second corner in qualifying! and then again! posted probably the worst time of all-above 1 min! :S

well adnan said nowhere all over the world people could get karting this cheap...saw a german indoor karting track on google and their best kart was 11 euros per 10 mins and 34 euros for 60 mins-thats around 4000rs-and indoor tracks are more expensive than outdoor ones. hope somebody will make a karting track here-can't join dreamworld just for their little track

anyway some event was better than no event...best of luck to the lucky ones who're going to the finals

practice k lie dosri kart di aur qualify round main dosri :@ aur best of 3 ka tha yahan tu aik hi lap liya! aur manual time note kare the there were no sensors :o

and yes thats another thing...it would've been better to have a best of 3 like isb if they were gonna change the karts before qualifying...to get the feel of it...

In my opinion the one lap qualifying was not a good idea and the practice was supposed to be 20 min practice sessions not 5 to 10 min session behind a old dude my time was 44.sumthing !

Lol haha what a PATHETIC event and what a sad joke!
This “racer hunt” had to be the biggest waste of time I have ever attended.
It was like throwing money down the drain.
They completely fooled and coned the entire public.

1. The event arrangements were non-existent.
2. The karts were in absolutely horrible conditions.
3. The track was a joke.
4. There was no proper timing everything was done manually!!
5. They said they would give a 20 minute practice and 3 laps…guess what THEY LIED!!! They only gave 5 minutes of practice and 1 qualifying lap!!!!

Basically they charged 3000 for a total of 7 minutes of karting on a crappy track with crappy karts and no timing. This has to be the most expensive karting anywhere in the world!!!!!!
Blatant Lies, deception and a TOTAL RIP OFF!!!
And these people claim they will give you an International Formula Contract??? Lol hahah what a bunch of utter BS.
It has now been clearly proven that they have no professionalism, no knowledge and no experience of anything in motorsports. All their claims are false and exaggerated. Completely inept and incompetent.

Well i don't remember Red T Shirt. Maybe u noticed me. Bald Guy with glasses, short thick beard on chin with black Shell t shirt. Yea the practice time was not enough and the carts were different during practice and qualifying. It was a good event though in my opinion. Its like the start of something new in Pakistan and i hope this gets bigger and better. Many of the guys already had previous carting experience and some were even racing for teams. So it was a bit unfair to us new comers. I mean one guy did 42.04 seconds till the time i was leaving the event at 16:00 hours. Dont know if someone else topped that. The guy was very good but then again i'm sure any of us could be good enough given the time to practice.

well admittedly it didn't go perfectly but still its a start. i think if other companies pick up on this we can start having grassroots motorsport in Pak finally. And despite everything I haven't had such a thrill in a while-sliding the kart around that track, doing the final straight full throttle and daring to brake later and later-it was quite fun actually and i'm glad i didn't miss it. i really do hope we can soon get a proper dedicated track with proper karts.

from what i've heard from experienced karters the steering on these was a bit too hard and fighty. and adnan said they had karts worth 6 million. if they have about 10 karts and that works out to 600,000 per kart thats still way too expensive for what we drove there. i'm pretty sure you can import this stuff in kit form and the way i see it these karts should be worth at max half that. may be they got ripped off for that matter :S

It was just a start of go karts in Karachi with little bit professional touch but in bad way specially for Karachianz.

y did they were excusing abt the time. bhai phle registertion hi nai karte agr capacity nia thi. but agr karli thi tu 2 din main divide karlete!

yaar race format parho jo in ki site aur brochure main tha aur dekho howa kya hia haad hai yaar had. sprint race hongi yeh hoga wo hoga! ell howa!

hey ppl...im going to lahore tomorrow for the finals...!! the race is on sunday and guess what...all the trevelling,,accomodation...and every thing is managed by RACING PAKISTAN..itself ..This is the very first time that a motor sport company has taken a bold step like this to promote motor spor enthusiasm and encouragement in pakitani ppl..hatts off to RACING PAKISTAN and specially ADNAN SARWAR the man behind all this with only 1 aim..."bringing motorsport to pakistan"
