The launch of Pakistan’s first private sector-operated Business Train between Lahore and Karachi, starting January 15, 2012, marks a significant step in public-private partnership. With nine air-conditioned Business-Class coaches and upgraded facilities, including lounges and catering services by Four Brothers International, the project is expected to generate Rs 1.15 billion annually. PR plans to expand this service to other cities like Sialkot and Faisalabad.
