This is a screenshot from Shrockworks website showing the cost (US$ 1,559.00) of bumper with all the items installed on mine. This does not include freight cost of approx 55kg's

Bumper made locally is more detailed and have some extrat added i.e center silver skidplate and extra removable lower extensions on the side whick are actually made by shrockwork for 4th Gen 4runner (picture below). We incorporated the idea of having those added to a Surf/3rd Gen 4runner; and it worked so well.

Total cost of this whole project did not exceed equivelant of US$ 550

infact my mouth kept open for few minutes .......... absolutely beautiful ....

i have renamed this beauty has SUMMER = SURF + HUMMER

a little suggestion from my side ..... others may not agree with me but i personally feel that the side fittings exactly infront of the head lights should be removed .... it should some how looks like this

This option was discussed as well but i had a few other giving suggestions and insisted to go with the whole thing. Side scoops can still be taken off tough

Hats off for Mr Shiraz and his wonderful team.

I was giving them ideas and bring them hundreds of picturs and they were abe enough to grap the whole cocept with extreme details.

On seeing this bumper; i've been approached by OUTDOORLOGIC, USA. Asking about market potential of such off-road vehicle add on's and end up with a business deal so they send in un-welded bumpers for our market.

Why not we team-up and get to promote our own people whom Allah has blessed with all the talent; are very intelligent and skillful. They need ideas and some real promotion to get them going.

Great work covering the build and posting it here and on other forums. Sure is some amazing work done there on the bumper. I have seen Shiraz and his brothers work wonders before too. Skill is abound here in Pakistan. We have to realize and start respecting ourselves first before we can promote it.
Bilal. Thank you again for posting this up. Maybe these few pictures can start changing the non believers into believers.

why not make a deal for un-welded items EXPORTED to US market. Import means killing local craftsmanship.

The job done is well DONE and am sure with people like you & Unimog guys & Saqib Janjua & his mates of 4x4 clubs, there is plenty of improvement these craftsman can excel. All of you can dictate quality & finishing and contribute to make their next generation be better craftsman

Weight of the bumper including lights, front skid, lower extensions on the sides and mountings was exactly 57KGs which is almost exactly same as original Shrockworks bumpers.
