I wish I could join U guys but due to official engagements I won't be able to come to Pak to join the ever wanted 4x4 adventures. But I wish U guys a nice adventure trip and have lots of fun. More importantly drive safe.

@akifjanjua McDonalds Islambad, but if we pindi guys want to have a second place then it can be Shell peshawar road oppossite Ijazulhaq's house. The choice of menu can be:
1. Chicken Karahi, Lahori chanay, Assorted salad, mangoes,cold drinks.
OR
2. Chicken sandwiches, Beef burgers, Russian salad, Cold drinks.

All participants please make the choice A.S.A.P

@jeepholic Sir wat wud be per head on the trip, just for the food..And i will be glad to come to Isb macdonald as its a 100 meters aways from my place.Will be commming with a few frnds will tell u how many by 13th on ur number ..

The food cost will be approx Rs. 200 and the fuel sharing cost depends upon group size and vehicles used.

well regarding place... we are going through a hot spell of weather here... last 2 days were too hot... sunday seems like that.. no rain... it would be better if we consider a second option... that should be a cooler place like muree/nathiagali.

we wont be able to enjoy much in this weather

I agree with u that it will be hot.But dear it will 14-8-2007 & trafic Jam will be from toll plaza till sunny bank :).
One another option is that we will use the new motorway starting from Chattar Toll Plaza,Road is metaled till Misari & then 4x4 till Lower topa,We can go to new murree (patriata) & there is a place rock waters there as mentioned by Jeepholic...........The only doubt is we will get stuck in trafic overe there as Murree & its surroundings will be heavily crowded on 14-8-07........ so make all these things in your mind that we wont get stuck in Traffic Jams

The weather is hot many of the members are travelling with their young kids, a cooler location as suggested sounds better via Simley Dam. Jeepaholic your comments on this one!!!!!

The first participant mhamza has arrived from Karachi with his lovely black CJ7. The CJ has been sent to my mechanic for regular checkup and new radiator to be ready for the 14th Aug offroad trip. My Bronco is also with the same mechanic for the preparations. What about you guys?

yes rained... and it rained good enough... i was jeepin around pindi/isb at that time... my jeep's wipers failed so had the first experience of driving in stormy rain without wipers

but one thing... with most of the cars bogged down... it was either my jeep or trucks who successfully pass through all kinda water

no wonder its a jeep thing

my ride ready... apart from the wiper... i dont need them anyway now... im an expert now
