The distance from Sialkot to Muzaffarabad is about 430kms, we left Sialkot 6:30Am and reached Muzaffarabad 2:30Am... about 20 hours.

Each Gps device have some limit to save the track, when that limit exceed it delete the tracks before that limit.

thanks for the hotel tip and i'll pass it on to my travel agent. it was a toss up between Port Blair and Srinagar and Srinagar won. for me it will be a nostalgic trip as i went there when i was wee with my parents and still remember tobogganing in Gulmarg, stopping in villages along the way and observing how they weave beautiful carpets and enjoying their hospitality. the tea was to die for.
