Lets say if someone got stuff worth 5k and bidding starts from 1250 and highest bid is 2400 in 2 days ....So is it acceptable by poster? What if he willing to sell around 3.5k or 4k ? Does its necessary by poster that he intended to sell it at the highest bid even if he is not willing? :S

no its not necessary if u set a reserve price which is the minimum price u want to sell it at
reserve price is part of normal bidding as well

As a matter of fact, YES, one should hand over the product even if it is less then his desired case. As we just can't treat PW like eBay...

If there should be a reserve price then the seller should sell it on fixed price in buyer/seller section (because even on that section he will start getting offers just like BIDS).

Yes. This is what i suggested initially in this thread. One MUST sell his item to higest bidder, otherwise it is not bidding , and he should not bring his product here.

I want to sale my Hp Compaq nc6220 which is a bit broken. The broken part is the base where the hinge is attached and is not a big problem, will cost not more than 1k for getting it repaired. Rest is perfect, never opened never repaired. The Laptop still stands on its one leg.

5. Base price should be set at 25% of the original price at the time of purchase.
in my opinion its not more than 7500-8000 max if its battery giving more than 2 hours
