Took delivery of a Toyota XLI - ( saturday 11 am) Limited edition Grey metallic 2NZFE engine 5 forward, car price we all know. I asked the PDI guy what is definition of special edition to this XLI. while there is not auto windows, no airbags, NO ABS - the Goof replied special is: Central Locking, CAT converter & HD multimedia & Navigation. I banged my head as Navigation is offered as OPTION not standard for Limited Edition. Price difference is 45000.00 additional.
The trunk lid interior does not have any insulator sheet, the rear seat frame in trunk have no insulation sheet either and the goof said Indus ki karolla mai yeah sab nahi hota, - the best part is with Factory PDI OK sticker dated 7th January there was no spare wheel in the trunk. Bang i closed the trunk yelled wtf and manager came out, 5 minutes & got every thing in order papers etc took a drive for 5 km for any choon chaa khatar pataar sound all was ok.
The invoice & delivery challan indicate the model as 2014
at gate outside the Toyota 3S I gave that Limited edition to recovery vehicle for onward delivery to truck stand for onward delivery in Lahore., No wonder am least interested in Local cars at all.
since car is not mine neither i booked it so avoided taking picture, the smell inside is not even close to a used JDMs
