"Rotaries are disposable engines", phobia

These are geniuses who think that Mazda is run by a bunch of dumb headed monkeys who formerly used to design disposable party plates.

Their main agenda is to absolutely convince you, so you without a doubt and firmly believe that if you're buying an Rx8, you must absolutely replace its engine after 40,000 KM. In other words, its not a car, its a toy which runs off batteries!

These people mind you, have absolutely no experience with RX8s, RX7s or rotaries of any sort. Their only knowledge stems from what a roadside mechanic told them after trying his luck on a blown rotary... which was formerly owned by a villager, who thought an RX-8 would be a good upgrade coming from an XLi as it is in the same price range.

so true , i finally found some one on pakwheels who thinks just like me about rotary engines . people who say that rotary engines are unreliable are the ones who do not even know how these engines work , they just bye a RX-7 or RX-8 thinking that these cars are like civics and corolla and treat them the same way and abuse them by rough driving , after a while what happens an apex seal blows which then destroys the rotor housing . and then they say
oh !!! rotary engines are unreliable

these people are amazing breed and butting heads with them is no use ,

i am glad i found some one you who thinks positive about rotary engines .
