Dear Zic

I have a charade diesel Turbo, Engine and the trubo is in mint condition please suggest the oil according for 1.0 L Diesel Turbo Engine.

The person i bought the car from was using sumthing called gulf oil? saying its a very good oil to be used.

very good question , remember one thing about synthetic engine oil that they are composed of maximum portion of pure refined / hydro cracked hydro carbons and very little portion of additive package therefore there shelf life is very extended and they can be used reliablily upto 14 to 16 months time period. On the contrary all minerl base oils has much more portion of additives therefore they have more tendancy to decay as compare to synthetic oils , more over if you keep oil cane with its seal intect it can long last but when its seal became teared then moisture introdes in and can cause to deterioate it so if you keep ZIC A , in your gerage for three mounths and so it is ok to use

Yes differance of refining process,
differance of API , GROUP of hydro carbon
differnace of additive package.
and above all the differance of VI of Oil.

Yes you are right and it is mentioned SL and SJ there but sir it has been upgraded to SM grade since 9 to 10 months and so. it is confirmed sir,

I have a 2004 Cultus. Previously I was using Zic A+ for like 3 years with a drain interval of 8K Kms
Recently renewed its rings and pistons only and done around 7K kms after that on a Mineral oil Petromin Ultra.
Now what do you suggest which oil should I use now? And from where do I get the best rates and fresh stock in karachi?
