My brother wants to buy a camcorder; his budget is 50k. Please suggest the brand / model and shop in Lahore / Karachi or Islamabad from where to buy! He will be using it to record family functions.

Panasonic's HDC-TM900 is finalized; its 824$ (~70k) on Amazon (out of budget) with thinking that it might be slightly cheaper here in Pakistan. If not then HDC-SD900 will be selected. Difference is just 32Gb built in memory. These both feature 3 CMOS 1/1.41" sensors (2.53Mp x 3; affective 14.2Mp), 3.5" Touch LCD, Leica Dicomar 46mm lens /w f1.5-f2.8, Manual Focus ring and built in flash
