No doubt cg-125 performed more than what I was expecting. It climbed very easily at every turn and outshone all other three rides in the group in climbing steep heights. Besides, its agile handling also helped me a lot in taking sharp turns. I was going quite happily until the last 5 or 10 kms remained to reach pir chinasi, when my motorcycle started missing. I don't know whether it was because of altitude or the engine was heating up but it started missing and I dragged it up to 5-6k RPM in 1st gear. Then confused, I stopped at one place. I asked from one other tourist having cg-125 and he told me to not give race too much. Then I started the engine and turned the throttle very gently and reached to the top mostly in 2nd gear.
I was expecting the same speed on which I reached to Muzaffarabad, but from Muzaffarabad up to Pir Chinasi its very steep climb and one has to go slow on the throttle and should let the engine breathe owise it will start dying.
Though I and my motorcycles were the oldest in the group, but I am happy with the performance of both. Now my mcycle mielage is 35K kms.
The area was not so green from Kohala to Muzaffarabad bc of roads construction and heavy machinery and even in Muzaffarabad the roads were dusty. From Kohala to Muzaffarabad, It was the most dirty road that I rode on. My black jacket almost turned to white and also reminded me of my village :). No doubt the scenery is beautiful. I didn't feel any vibrations issue in my motorcycle as in my motorcycle I feel vibrations at 90kms and it was not easy to ride at 90 while climbing steep height.
Yaar, sound ka koi masla nahin in relaxing as to relax and enjoy the natural scenery one has to stop, turn off the engine, walk around and enjoy. So one can do it any time while traveling. Going upward to pir chanasi I waited at a place for Ahmad and took some photos. There was nobody around and there was pin drop silence and then I heard a familiar sound of a cg-125 that really impressed me. There were two persons carrying a goat to Pir Chanasi mizar. There were also other groups on cg-125 singing and enjoying.
As I have already mentioned in many threads, for me cg-125 is the least comfortable motorcycle. Actually a dual sports 250 or higher suits my height and posture but its too expensive. But there are a lot of other things to look for in addition to looks in a mcycle. IA, soon I will buy a deluxe 125 or 150.
