Yasir bhai, for offroading we need to wait for good weather, otherwise in this weather, if we go out and need to pull out few stucks then every one will start hating desert offroading, and come home with burnt skin and specialy foot.
the sand wil be so hot that you can easily roast peanuts in it.
but we are having an aftar gathering early next month at the Famous "Aftar Bowl" off. dubai - hatta highway near Madam, if people are interested and we can attend that, it will be big gathering.
Regardin ride choice,
- if you wanna have pure fun with out any comfort element and are limited on budget than go for a YJ.
- If you wanna abuse the ride with very little comfort on road and can shed arround 40 k, go for a TJ upto 2004
- XJ and other Chirokkes are also good but need lot od mods to squeeze the performance, Jeep liberty sports could also be a choice it is comfortable as well as got good mods in market,
- but if you want comfort and ultimate desert machine and can shed some money, go for a 2 door PRADO VX (uptil 2009), just lift it by 2 inch and then you will never regret you choice, it is the ultimate Desert machine and score high on Both onroad and offroad use, plus have a lot of mods availabe and a good resale value. Most of all it is Japense so reliable as a family member.
