and yes u are right, while writing that i was also thinking keh bhai danish kiya yeh tumharey liey bhi possible hoga... but than thought, why not to push the limits....

and yeah, just came back from muree and galliyat after passing a weekend with family. what is the update brothers. any final date of departure and arrival... so that i can go to my boss with solid data... though it seems almost impossible for me to get leave again with in a month...

Departure from Lahore: 29th July 2010.
Arrival at Lahore after the trip: 8th August 2010.

it was decided to change plan due to unavoidable reasons with most of the participants, e,g., leave approval for one senior member was not possible etc etc
as its a huge project, we wanted to be very careful and ready in all terms
i have sent the new plan for a medium size trip to all by email..
and you have great information about that too, i have to meet you soon for having maximum information regarding that plan.

Thanks for informing about the change of plans Malik sahib. I think it might have been more desirable had it been announced earlier.
However I will be going on the Nanga parbat trip on the 30th of July, Inshaullah, with 7 friends. We shall be going to Skardu by air and trek all along. Details of the trip will be posted soon.

Proposed revised Nanga Trip.
Departure date is night of 31<SUP>st</SUP> July and 1<SUP>st</SUP> August.
Day 1. Dep 12.30am via Bus. Take flight to Skardu, Arrive Skardu 11am. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 2. Reach Deosai with horses and porters. Night stay at Bara Pani.
Day 3. Roam around and fish in the Deosai. Night stay at or around Minimurg.
Day 4. Walk till Chillum and get a taxi/ jeep for Rattu. Night stay at Rattu.
Day 5. Get ride till Tarashing in Rupal valley and start trekking. Camp in the pastures whose names I am forgetting.
Day 6. Another night camping in the Rupal valley close to the Mazeno.
Day 7. Night stay at Rama or Rama lake.
Day 8. Take public transport till Raikot bridge and reach Fairy meadows.
Day 9. Trek till the base camp and camp there.
Day 10. Return to Raikot and board bus for return
Day 11. Reach Lahore
