Plus for other riders joning this Joint Venture will also share good things and may get something from our culture too.

REGARDING COURIER/TRANSPORT: A company named Blue Lines near railway station at Nicholson road transfer bikes at about Rs.1,000/- to Rs.1,200/-. In case you use their service, please handover bike before some time (atleast a day) when you leave through train, as said by Dr. Yaqub sahab.

Dates are fixed and tickets arranged. 24th dec and 2nd of Jan
Please recommend the stopovers and arrangements that need to be made. Please suggest the possible places to stay and their facilities along with possibility of camping.

Dr sb if possible post the name list of all people who r joining the trip and detail of who will and will not be riding bikes. My riding plan this year does not include Gwader, instead I plan to ride interior of Hingol National Park with lot of offroading which many of u wont be willing to do. I will do it next week and from the trip report many things will get clear to u. I intend to take my Rocky Jeep for the PBC trip, it wont be a comfortable ride but anyone willing to share the ride is most welcome.
As for the stopovers and accommodations etc I will mail u my suggestions and u all can discuss and finalize.

I have finalized/purchased the tickets of the following members both-sides (i.e. going to Karachi and coming back from it) Alhamdolillah.

1. Mustfeez.
2. Dr. Omar Khan Sb.
3. Imran Bhatti.
4. Malik Tahir Sb.
5. Tahir Saleem.

Departure Date is 24-Dec-09 and Time is 1600 according to the tickets.

Arrival Date is 02-Jan-10 and Time is 1600 according to the tickets.

I paid Rs. 1000/- per ticket, and Rs. 10,000/- in total for five people for both sides.

Malik Tahir and Sardar Rehman are back pateints with history of surgeries so they would be on 4 wheelers

Please propose interesting places to stay as it might take me some time to find helpful friends in that area.

U will reach Khi hopefully in the afternoon of 25th. I suggest if u make it no later than 3:30 we leave immediately and stay the night in Uthal, which is not more than 2 hours ride away. of coarse if u r not too tired from ur train journey. If any of u feel like camping, there r unlimited options on the way to gwader. One night stay in Ormara, it is right on the road and place to stay available. Staying in Pasni is out, because it is few Kms off the main highway, secondly at the moment I cant recall any one with whom we can stay there.
Gewani is further ahead from Gwader, it will depend on the situation and will be decided there and then.

Expect pleasant weather, warm clothes wont be needed as much specially in day time, but I recommend every one of u carry atleast one piece of warm clothing possibly a jacket with u.Occasionally a bitter cold wind locally known as Goreech blows and it could be quite unpleasant. Evenings are cold anyway. Anything else u want to know, just ask.

Are there any hotels in Pasni maybe like "Driver hotels". If not, any place to camp there? Only thing needed is water, basic food and washrooms of any type. I want to visit it as it is a fishing village and might be interesting.

dont expect any residential hotels here, on the main coastal highway a few months back even tea hotels could be counted on the fingers of one hand. Now I hear there r atleast three who sell food. One thing more, in present situation I am not comfortable visiting areas just on our own. Though security is not an issue.

I don't think we will make it in the first day, might be possible, but seems hard to me as I think we will late than the time you proposed.

U will make it by then, Karakoram does not usually take more than 22 hours.

Check my previous replies about weather conditions. One recent development though, my cousin with whom I intended to stay in Ormara got transfered to Gwader, so another little problem needs to be sorted out. Do carry ur sleeping bags with u if it is possible.
