hi,
dunt know abt rxi or lxi bt i got da japan one .. n it rocks ... my daily running is abt 150-200km a day in weekdayz n upto 500km in weekend. with nice avg in petrol .. dunt know abt cng bt must b good in it too .. i go off road as well in interior sindh n its soundless n so reasonable car n worth dat money .. it got almost everthng u need in a car .. go for it .. good ride

talked to alot of ppl regarding liana,almost all said that its better then city n xli in the driving pleasure....but the pleasure is soon ruined when u hav many serious problems wid the car.nd as @retrograde said,wiring problem,clutch bearing noise etc,nd somewhere i read abt radiator leacking @100kms,these r not small problems which can b easily neglected.

though not all lianas hav these problems,but its not a safe bet to buy a new liana.better get a very less driven liana.wud save u sum cash nd u wud know if theres any problem.xli city civic might not hav as many things as liana has,but they dnt hav any quality problems n they r a safe bet.plus the resale is also very nice.

yaro i also had a liana and driving it since 2007...nothing is perfect if some1 favors a thing eventually it will also build a man against that thing..my liana never had any problem...it depends on how u have used it...dont know y people always go for xli or city which are costly leaving lianas specs and all those additional features...anyhow i love my liana and never found it to be less efficient than xli/city...

brother ahmadbila i have read your comment... my cousin has an xli bought in late 2006 actually he dont have any sense of care for the car and thus always quote that xli is scrap...he had many problems just due to neglected behavior with the car...same is the case with other jin ko khiyal nhn rakhna atta wo hamesha kharab gari pe tanz krain *** apni la parvahi pe nhn.

its ok on petrol and pathetic on CNG gives lot of problem
i bought liana 2007 cool beige color 39k driven and sold it in 2 weeks as i was really burned out of that troubling machine so i got rid of it

Did you ever bother to find out why that guy was selling it after driving it for 39K and how had he treated it during that time? No doubt the car would have been screwed badly even it gotten into your hands... And you instead of diagnosing the problems and removing them, put it on someone else's shoulders by selling it as quickly as possible, like the one who did it before you.

And would you care to go to used cars market and just blindly pick a Corolla or City, having the faith that it hasn't been screwed already?

Let me frankly discuss its merits n demerits.

Merits.
1 best option if u hav a budget of around 11lakhs n u wanna buy a new car
2 no work required since 2007
3 better luxury than other suzukis
4 superb interior wrt its price
5 nice sound system
6 partially loaded (except pwer side mirrors)
7 good quality general tyres
8 average suspension
9 Last but not the least. a complete family car.

Demerits.
1 Breaking system. (awful)
2 road grip
3 donot test its engines agility by going far than 4000 rpm
4 lesser pick
5 not that much economical wrt 1300cc engine
6 DOORS...... very noisy to operate.

Central Idea of the story is!!!!!
it is not a performance car like civic but a best option for day2day use.

i agree door r very noisy as compared to other big cars even baleno doors r much softer

dear i am proud owner of 2006 LXI . I AM RUNNING IT ON PETROL LAST 4 YEAR. I NEVER SPENT ASINGLE PENNY ON ANY MAINTAINCE EXCEPT OIL + FILTER CHANGE. I FOUND IT VERY RELIABLE, LUXURY CAR AMOUNG HIS COMPETETIORS. ABS EXCELLENT. I DROVE 70,000 WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE

hmm so finally people are changing their minds. GOOD to know .. I used to have 1.6 eminent that was really amazing car that car was worth keeping . ABS, CD player, Auto transmission totally powered. Sorry for Honda lovers I used to have prosmatice as well but I found Liana better than Honda. Good value of money.
Won many races which was really hard pill to swallow for Toyota lovers.
