the onboard calculation is indeed not accurate,
from tank to tank method, i am getting around 16.8 km/liter, per my last calculation, when the car shows 15.6 km/liter.

impossible.. in bumper to bumper traffic, your car is literally stationary.. and idling.
unless you travel from bahira town using highway and lyari expressway all the time.
not possible......khi traffic is hell like now a days......evrywhere u get to brake and stay idle.
I keep a very close eye on fuel consumptions of my cars. Other than the car's on board fuel calculations, I do the following things;1- Always get the fuel tank topped up2- Stick to selected fuel pumps (PSO Burraque at highway and PSO company operated pump near DHA Head Office phase 1)3- Note the mileage on every refill. (Take snap of the odo too)
All these calculations and the onboard calculations on my Alto are both above 20 kmpl.
While applying the same methods my '09 city AT gives an average of 10.5 to 11.5 kmpl while the meter says 13 to 14 kmpl
I don't think it's the fuel issue for Wagon R, rather the roads and traffic conditions of Karachi.
As a Karachite, I sometimes feel so frustrated with the poor infrastructure (further detroiting with every passing day) and poor traffic management that I can't explain in words.

After using the Alto AGS for 25 months and driving it 32,000 kms sold the car today. It was a really nice experience, had to part away with the car as I needed some money urgently and this little car proved to be hot cash too
Maybe I will be buying another one in a few months
