Petrol / LPG CNG (Compare)

LPG is sold in KG @ desi style refilling shops. They fill cylinders by weight and one need to take cylinder out of vehicle again bring back to fit in vehicle, lot of headache. If it will be available on petrol pumps then they will give u in litrs just like petrol through dispensers.at the moment LPG is 115/KG. so it's by weight not volum. Where as litre is measured by volum. So now u have to search for conversion table to analyse the difference.

In general LPG is ways more expensive than CNG

new Lpg plants have been imported by the govt which has been fitted in shrah e faisal PSO and it will be filled like CNG with price Rs 50 /litre

And car run better on LPG due to its octane level and gives more average than petrol and cng as well

But here on forum, people are of the view that difference between Petrol and LPG average is mere 10% more.

its now available but dont know whether the price will be remain same after All vehicle moves to LPG as our govt is greedy they have just lowered it price to convert CNG car on LPG afterwards they will take advantage and recover all the loss

but average and pick on LPG is way better than petrol n CNG coz my cousin had a lpg car back in 2000 datsan 120y he used to get 17-20km/kg

But the main point is the LPG is not cheap either plus it won't give you more millage like CNG...
for example:
If car gives in 1 Litre petrol about 12 Kms
than same car with lpg gives you 13 Kms
but with CNG it will give you 16-17 kms per KG.

Correction pls.. On LPG car runs 10-15 % Less mileage compared to petrol..

so far CNG is cheapest ..

But as an alternate fuel around the world, LPG is gold standard .. (only a few countries have CNG converted vehicles)

LPG is available at around 60-65/Litres at auto gas stations, whereas LPG Marketing companies are selling to distributors at around 110-120/kg (which is normally disclosed in newspapers)

In Multan they have started filling LPG in Wagons in the normal CNG Cylinders and replacing the CNG kit with LPG; I asked the drivers of the Wagons and they told me that 1kg of LPG is giving them twice the mileage of Petrol; so now when Petrol is Rs 78/l and LPG 100/KG it means they are consuming 1/2KG of LPG for the same mileage as of Petrol and it is cheaper than Petrol. An average Cylinder of CNG is filled with 30-35 KG LPG and pressure being still lower than CNG it is safer as well. There is no change in the filling valve or line from Cylinder to kit. I have to believe the statement of drivers because a Wagon being used as Public transport would never use LPG if it costs them more than Petrol...
Still thinking of converting from CNG to LPG with a very modest cost...
Any suggestions...
