Hi,

I am unable to find Hi octane any where in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.

Can anyone please tell me a good reputed petrol pump with Hioctane, near bluearea, or on islamabad highway, or on airport road.

Try the TOTAL pump on the left side before Karal Chowk on Islamabad Highway.

We used to get petrol from PSO Model Town Link Road pump earlier. But once they cheated me. I asked them to fill the tank. I knew that the tank would get full with the petrol worth of 1000 Rs maximum. The pump guy filled fuel of RS 400 and the pump got tripped. He said that now he would fill the tank and add RS 400 in the total cost. I said OK. I took my eyes off the meter for only 10 seconds and he had already filled fuel of RS 500. I asked how come he filled so fast, he said pump can fill at very high speed. I argued with him for quite sometime but he was not admitting. After that day, I didn't go there again.

Regarding A Block PSO pump well its fuel is OK but I think its not up to the mark. Can you suggest some other good pump near model town area?

I Go to ATTOCK and Total Y block DHA on Ghazi Road Defence. Both are good.

well other than that near model town you can either go to garden town total or peco road total (the one which came on the left side when you are going towards akbar chock from link road )
I will not recon shell & caltex on ""Model town moorr"" or let me say never slow down near ""shell"" pumps...

& one general advice never get your attention diverted while refueling your car/bike :::yee loog dasti phuduuu laga datay hainn :::: regardless of good pump or bad pump :::::always stay on there head:::::

Have you noticed any difference in performance when using PSO and Total Fuel?

@rizi Its been long I'm using only PSO & Total both are good comply to specific pumps,Hi-octane at MMalam total is very good & I feel a smile on the face of my red lady(steermatic) when ever she had a pack of it & her performance increase.

As I am in Bahria town since June this year, PSO at bahria town is also good.

How is the caltex pump at Pirwadhai mor vs PSO pump in saddar vs Shell pump on panjsarki peshawar road,caltex pump on Golra mor Rawalpindi..Awaiting replys

my personal experience with Shell panjsarki is good among all..

In Islamabad someone was mentioning caltex in F-6 to be v good..

Both pumps at Total MM Alam use fuel that gives engine knocking on EFI, tested myself

Total near LDA office, Johar Town is the best.
& also Caltex Wapda Town.

Has anyone tested Total LDA himself on EFI ? Total has an issue of using petrol of RON less than 87 Car knocks !

About Caltex: I have two concerns, one their petrol smells kerosene and second their meter appears to be tempered

Pso bahria town rawalpindi near arena is crap. Fuel quality is bad. Tested on 1.6 corolla and civic. Both cars jerked till bhera. Felt under powered as well.

yes, particularly the one opposite to Vogue tower. I have had bad experiences with them several time, but it's the only pump that comes on my way from work to home so I go there at times, but try to avoid it as much as possible. I always feel that my 2002 vitz start knocking whenever I fill from there. and once the filled 43L in my vitz when I was expecting round 37-38 liters. and I believe vitz tank is 40 liters.

btw, I have found ZOOM pump Opposite to Hardees on MM Alam to be one of the best. and I have got noticeably better mileage with that and no knocking. Today I asked one of their staff member about RON of their Super fuel and he said it's 92. Although 92 seem too good to be true but whatever it is it's definitely better than most of the pumps we have here. (it's my personal experience, no other evidence though)

Zoom Pump on MM ALAM road is one of the best petrol pumps in Lahore, there normal petrol is equivalent to High Octane from other fuel stations. Their fuel is approx Re 1 expensive then other pumps but clean fuel worth it.
