Thank you for your guidance regarding the turning radius. This is really helpful.
I guess I intend to keep the car for at least 5-6 years. I currently have a Suzuki Swift (my first car) and I have driven it only 65,000km in 8 years, so I clearly do not use my car very much. So I expect maybe keeping the car for 6 years and doing around 50,000km.
I understand the merits of getting a used Peugeot since there seem to be many options with low milage that are significantly cheaper than the price of a new car. My only concern is that it is difficult to figure out which cars have been properly maintained by the showroom. I recall recently reading a post on this thread about a buyer who relied on a Pakwheels inspection and later found out the car had been repaired by a local mechanic, causing significant damage. That kind of outcome I cannot afford. I think I would rather spend a little more and get a brand new car, where I can have peace of mind and take responsibility for ensuring it is properly maintained by the dealership.
I understand the oil change is slightly more expensive than other cars - but for me, having the six month gap / 10,000km seems like a blessing since since it means fewer visits to the dealership.
