Again, buddy - personal experience does not equate to actual facts on the ground. What you are saying is very different to what many many people are saying when they're going into the market for these cars. Which is why none of us are actually right unless we give actual facts.
Also - Back when I bought it in April, when the prices had not been jacked up for everyone else - I said it here that I'm happy that this is an exclusive sort of vehicle that's not gonna be mass market cuz I enjoy exclusivity and would rather drive something that's not common. It is a B-segment vehicle competing against C - segments. But in most aspects it is a better vehicle than all of them. It's a joy to look at each time. It's a joy to drive. It's just different.
So it actually is not for everyone cuz people want 'size' without having a need for size (unless you have a 5-6 member family), 'immediate resale' and a feature checklist. Everyone wants to play safe. I'm very happy driving a niche vehicle, no problem. And I know it will still give me a profit if and when I sell it in the future. But it's funny that many people are very quick to spread hate about it with no real substance in their arguments.

heard a similar story with a hyundai elantra in bath island, karachi. his car was insured so thankfully he did not bear much financial hit. moral of the story, get new cars insured asap especially if they arent suzukis or toyotas.

Don't remember if I've asked this before - but what do you guys do for proper car paint care.

I've been trying to be super careful to avoid swirl marks etc but sadly failed. They come up no matter what. And I'm thinking I gotta give up on trying to keep it swirl free.

Get the car washed and overnight dust is on the car. Can't keep it covered all the time. Can't dry dust the car either.

Post Karachi rains I see some water spots as well now. I have a Turtle Wax Scratch remover I use which removed a couple of them. Is it safe to use? Or shall I use a compound. And can a compound be safely used DIY. I saw a few YT videos but they suggest clay bar and then compound etc. Not sure an amateur like me should try it myself
