Each to their own, i like sportage mainly cause of the size, it has a good road presence, very roomy, and a huge trunk, kids love it. 2008 is quite cramped out, of course tech vise, interior and exterior 2008 is way ahead, sportage isn't the latest gen so it is outdated, but i like the solid build with no gimmick features and plenty of room. Engine honestly is not underpowered at all, average is a little less but then again not too bad.

Sportage is not underpowered neither is sonata.. its just the strange Korean transmission that makes u feel u are driving a weird car. Sonata is a lovely car but until u sit on the driving seat. Transmission ruins everything not the engine. Same transmission is provided in all the cars so far. 2008 has edge there but other than drive space issue is really big for families

Depends on what you follow in everyday life.

0-100 times: 2008 is faster than RS. In top speed, RS will beat 2008 because of 50 extra HP.

I am about to pull the trigger on Peugot 2008. I am sold once I drove that car.... Loved it. I have already owned Civic X, Triborn, Reborn, Revo , Fortuner , Swift. But this thing is something to crave about.... ...

I am buying Allure Variant and I live in Karachi. Mostly it will driven on Shahrah E Faisal and Malir Cantt Area.

I need to ask 3 questions about fellow 2008 owners

1: Is Hi Octane Necessary? Or we can run on normal fuel. Or mix it... .

2: Spare Parts Availability in Karachi. !

3; Any negative thing about this car....

good decision bro. its a beutiful car. a head turner too. and do consider that rust colour as well. its a trade mark for this mdoel. although it looks great in white too. black is a no because it conceals the contrast and curves.

Can run on regular fuel
Spare parts should not be an issue since Lucky Motors has their Peugeot dealerships and will facilitate.
Nothing negative for me. Space in the back is less for some but ok for me. Though I would've liked them to add rear AC vents.

Nonetheless - it's an absolute treat to own, experience and drive.

No I don't think it does. They changed it from vehicles above Rs. 5M to above 1300 CC. So it doesn't apply to 2008

From where did you book your car? I booked it from Macca dealership and they are saying delivery time is now 2 months.

Also production is stopped by Peugeot as per dealership due to inflation. They are waiting for a stable position so that they can start production again.

They confirmed there won't be any price hike at least in July but we can expect it in August/September timeline.

bro i never said anything about its response. It was hell responsive. I was talking about stability and feel of driving something solid. You get this sense of driving something very light, and it has got this vibration as well. You don't get the feel of a luxury stable vehicle, if i am spending 5 million+ on a vehicle , i need that feel

I booked allure variant in black colour today ... delivery is in Sep.... from Kia Macca Motors Karachi. Lets see how this experience will go with my first euro brand/car.

Though fuel economy is not my concern for Allure as this will used as 3rd car. Still some saying 8-9 KM/Litre others saying 12-13 KM/Litre within City.

Which one is correct. ?

In Karachi, it will give you 9-11 km/ltr. Not more than that.

On long, it will give you 14-15 km/ltr.
