now adays every car is overpriced starting from suzuki alto till fortuner ..grande is priced below oriel and gives more features so between these two grande gives better value to money but overall yes every car is overpriced and its better to get the one with best offering ..and due to this reason i see lot of haval h6 on roads it does offer good features over competitors. peouget is also good but is on the fragile side being a european brand .

haval also obviously has question mark over long term durability but it has good tech and big road presence on road gives range rover vibes in black.

Bought 2022 Allure about 2 months before and I'm % satisfied with my decision.as I was upgrading from kia Stonic I felt power, beautiful interior with cockpit and better feul economy,I also feel it's more of a boy's car.
One major concern is the engine noise, it is normal with Peugeot as checked 4 cars before buying but my mind is not accepting..

Its does have a noise like those little "steam boats that äre propelled by lighting a small candle inn them (very sub continental though), best summed up by PakGear review of the allure. It sounded about the same as the last gen HRV to me so YMMV

Yeah true this tuk tuk like noise from engine is annoying.
I got mine with 50000 on the clock but with new tires,Air filter, oil filter, ac filter, oil change,disc changed, software update and any other periodic maintenance required complimentary

Someone asked so before recommending I’d really like to know how much routine maintenance costs on Allure.

I'll have to look up past bills for the cost of oil filter; never had others changed. IIRC it was around 4500 or so. But i'll have to reconfirm. This was probably at a time when they were short of supply of these, which is not the case now.
As for maintenance costs, these are similar to any of the kia cars. All service centres in Islamabad except for one are dual; kia and Peugeot (exception being the one in barakahu that is kia only). They are displayed within the service areas. the diff being that the service interval for Peugeot is 6 months, while for Kia it is 3.

I hope this answers your question on basic maintenance costs, i.e., the engine oil and oil filter.
My cabin filters and air filters were fine, so I didn't replace them.
The next maintenance is due after 2 months, and then I will update here accordingly.

p.s. I noticed that they wrote 10942, which is exactly 5k km more than the reading on the said day instead of the recommended 10k km interval, for the next routine maintenance. An error at their end; the recommended interval is still 10k km or 6 months.

Also, the car uses 3.5 litres of oil so they give you the 0.5L back.

Hello Guys

Out of the blue my Allure's fob (both) stopped working and then i had to manually open the door thanks to the mechanical key. Both fobs failing cant be a coincidence >

Anyone who faced this?

You can drive 10k km on this oil.
For perspective a 5k km oil change on my toyota vitz costs around 7-8 thousand rupees if i remember correctly.

Can you start the car in current state?
Try initialising your main key by holding it against the keyfob reader on the left hand side of the steering wheel, then start the engine. See if it fixes itself. If it doesnt do the the same thing again but this time hold the lock or unlock button on the keyfob for 10 second as you start the engine.

Do you have proximity key function on? If so, turn it off in the HU and try again.
IF that doesnt work. take the -ve terminal of the battery off for 10 mins, reconnect and try

Yes, as I mentioned, the service interval is still 6 months, or 10k km, as it was an error at their end.
Service centre's will tell you anything and everything to take your money. You have to stick to the manufacturer's recommendations as displayed in the owner's manual (Visual assessment aside), no matter what the vehicle is.

Also, yes I couldn't agree more with what you said about the state of our country's economy rn. everything is a turmoil.

A fully synthetic API SN oil goes 8k to 10k km easily.

You can change Vitz oil after 10k km as well.
