you are right rehmank that there are many threads on PWs that cover Thandiani, Mushpuri, Saidpur etc etc...but frankly everytime I see a new thread on any of the amazing places I feel like visiting them again if I have already visited them or I want to visit them even more now that someone has taken the step of going there before me For a Karachiite like me the mountains up north are like a magnet always attracting me towards them. sometime the pull is very strong and I end up enjoying the sights & sounds there. Thank you for taking us on a new journey.

You are absolutely right. Allah has blessed us with a wonderful country, we just need to explore and admire it more.

Day 2:

We left for Thandiani around 10 AM. One member of the group wanted to visit Panja saab (in Hassan Abdal). We went there but unfortunately it was closed for visitors till elections, for some odd reasons. Disappointed, we proceeded to Abbotabad.

Offered Zuhar prayer at Ilyasi mosque and had some delicious Pakoras afterwards.

Reached Thandiani around 2 PM. It was freezing cold due to strong wind. Stayed there for a couple of hours and then left for Nathiagali. Reached Nathiagali around 7 PM with short stays at PMA Huts Thandiani and Harnoi

Spotted this newly developed water reservoir somewhere near Tarnol. Is actually part of some mega housing society project but It looked quite unique and fascinating.

Travelling from Hassan Abdal to Haripur was memorable one as there are lots of wheat fields on both sides of the road. Wheat crop was ready for harvesting which made it look even more beautiful. We stopped for a while near Haripur to buy some fruits. While others were busy shopping, I grabbed the opportunity to take a few pics

It was quite hot till Haripur but suddenly it started drizzling and weather became quite pleasant. Took a quick shot for you guyz to show you how it looked like (H)

At that stage, everyone thought it was a perfect setting for visiting Thandiani and it would be lots of fun. But nobody knew what's coming up
