Travelling from Hassan Abdal to Haripur was memorable one as there are lots of wheat fields on both sides of the road. Wheat crop was ready for harvesting which made it look even more beautiful. We stopped for a while near Haripur to buy some fruits. While others were busy shopping, I grabbed the opportunity to take a few pics

Asif Bhai is right. It's one of the three water reservoirs in Dunga gali. It's a wonderful and peaceful place and one of my favorites.

Some details about the water reservoirs:

There are three ponds in Donga Gali. Water is supplied in Murree from this pond. There are two types of ponds over there, two are the square shape and one in circular shape, square shape ponds were built in 1840 and the circular shape was built in1987. All three reservoirs have the capacity to store 6250000 gallons of water collectively. At the distance of half kilometer from the pond, tanks are made in which waters from the spring is purified first, and then it is stored in the ponds.

2- Paknay walay pakoroon ko aik jaga ikathaa kar lain. Ic baat ka khayaal rakhain kay samosay aur aalo walay Pakoray saada pakoroon main mix na hoon

Well! Abbotabad is a small town and there are just a few places that can be visited. Ilyasi masjid, Shimla pahari and Thandiani are the ones I can quickly think of

As far as hotels are concerned, there are losts of them. Most of them are on the main Mansehra road which passes through abbotabad city. You can find further details in below mentioned thread

There are many threads on this forum about these places and most of you would already have been to the places. The reason behind initiating the thread is to share our experience and also remind you guys about your sweat memories associated with them.

I, along with 3 of my colleagues, were planning a 4 day trip. Many options were discussed but we finally settled with these places mainly because most of them were new to tourism and I wanted them to get addicted to it Therefore, selected places which are easily accessible, have got good accommodation and food options

Let's start again. After Pakora party, we left for Thandiani. After almost 20 mins drive one gets to the point where the whole Abbotabad city can be viewed. You can call it Abbotabad's Dam-e-koh

One can have similar sort of Abbotabad city view from Shimla pahari as well
