It appears that the operator prefix are used to determine the network and then to send the sms via same operator number to save the costs.
We are in 21st century need to invest in some NGN technology for the seamless routing over various operators.

My number ported from warid to ufoneI never ever receive text from pakwheels and many other sites. Though I don't need to verify plus I understand the issue and never complained.

Because that's a restriction from PTA and not some technical glitch from PakWheels. We have found a solution for it which will be deployed in the first week of next month and this problem will be permanently resolved.

Im facing the same problem. PakWheels is such a big platform now in Pakistan but still they have not been able to solve this problem of phone verification code. I request PakWheels to solve my problem as this leaves bad impression. My AD ID is 3572365.
