The strike price for roshan was ~rs.80. So you bought just ~rs.40,000 worth of shares? Wasn't there a minimum amount requirement of ~rs.1,000,000 for buying at IPO?

The initial offering is for High Net Worth individuals where there is a threshold of one million. This is where the strike price is determined. Second public offering is to general public at the determined strike price in lots of 500 shares.

I just applied in UBL EIPO for Ittefaq Foundaries using their Net Banking Service.

I tried calling thier support to inquire about the status of share allotment but they don't have any information about it.

EIPO was on 9th June. How long does it usually take for allotment after purchase.eipo?
Also I only have UBL account (no CDC account), will I be able to sell those back if needed through my net banking account?

It will take few days and balloting will be announced. You will not be able to sell share unless you have an account of PSX Broker ..

EIPO announcement takes 2 weeks almost for allocation and 3 weeks for physical certificate to be delivered at home but from now to onwards you cannot buy any share if you do not have CDC Account in Pakistan and with UBL Net Banking you cannot sell them back as for the same you need to have CDC Investor account to be open

Now onwards all EIPO are linked with CDC you cannot buy or sell with CDC account.
