Well, sure it is a GOOD-LOOKING car...

When the mark IV Supra came out, Toyota engineers went for a single exhaust system. Even though twin exhausts look cool, they added in that case 30 odd pounds.

Other weight saving measures? Hollow head bolts, hollow-fibre carpets, aluminium roof, hood and bumper supports, hollow anti-roll bars etc.

Why do the EVO X and STI have twin exhausts? I understand for a V8, but a four-banger? I may be wrong, but it seems like a case of form over function to me.

Interesting info on the Supra, especially the bit about hollow carpet fibers.

I completely agree with you on the twin-exhausts being a case of form over function. If the Subaru WRC car can make do with a single exhaust then so can the STI.

I haven't had the chance to drive the STI yet, hopefully soon. Some of the editors took the car ice racing on a frozen lake, the video should be up on C/D online soon.

i really like the interior of Subaru WRX STi.........but the thing i dont like.........its only available in Hatchback version........no sedan.......but still gr8 car

It does look mean in black. Yeah hopefully i'll get to drive this thing around once in a while. These are the summer tires, the winter tires should be in tommorow. I believe the wheels are going to be black.
