unscrew the PCB on the right side, these are the two points to solder your hardbrake wires.

as you can see the grey cord is from an old ps1 controller, just drill a hole and stick your cord through, remember to tie a knot so you won't yank your connections loose

the shifter and hand brake were scratch made from copper pipes bought from Lowes Hardware, a standard copper T joint allows the "shifter" to spin back and forwth freely

as you can see its connected to springs on each side to keep the shifter centered, as you pull the shifter towards you, upshift as an example, the front spring expands pulling it back to the center, the rear spring actually gets pushed backwards and pushes the switch located behined it, completing the circuit

they are wired to the steering wheel PCB in my previous post (ground+upshift and ground+downshift)
the advantage of this design is that 1. you will not have to relocate the PCB, 2. less parts required, and 3. if you pull the shifter really hard, all the force gets stopped by the screw holding the spring in place instead of damaging the switch.
