Nice to see A REAL Super Market in Pakistan (Makro). I think some Dutch company from Holland is doing this, not sure, but its certainly a European company as I read about a year ago. They have alot of Hyper Marts, or Super Markets in Europe and USA. The Most famous in US is Wal-Mart. Its huge. Its good to see a similar Super Market in Pakistan. There are Millions of these in US, in every neighborhood. Yes they bring alot of convenience, plus you Never have to worry about Parking Problem, as there is always plenty of Parking spots for these Mega Markets.
But there is ONE BIG DISADVANTAGE, they DRIVE AWAY the Business of the SMALL Retailers. Yup, the poor people that have their Little Shop would be forced to close them, just like What happened in America in 1960s and 1970s. Alot of Small Store (Dukaan), closed, because everyone preferring these Super Marts, over small local neighborhood shops.
But the upside is that they do hire alot of local people. That maybe a sigh of relief, but having your own little Business is alot better than working for a Mega Corporation. You loose alot of freedom, in how you do things, how much you earn, etc.
