Yes, we went from KKH and the road condition was Ufffffffffffffffffff at some point work is going on at some point we were driving between 15 to 20 ke speed say and where ever the work is complete the road was good, gilgit to skardu road is good condition wise but it is narrow and dangerous road some are very sharp turns and the locals are driving very carelessly, so you have to be very alert all the time.
In hunza we stayed at eagle nest hotel and payed Rs.3300/- per day in the month of June 2011 and in gilgit we stay at ranger guest house.
