earlier i have given aux input to kenwood head unit, following is the link for reference,
https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/d-i-y-projects/22718-diy-kenwood-headunit-aux-adaptor-2#post2507586
here a resistance is inserted to tell the HU for the input from aux source, and we select it from source button from our HU, all good
Now i have a pioneer stereo with ip bus port, pinouts for audio channels wont be a problem, my query is what about the selection of input source slection on the stereo, it had dedicated buttons for CD, Tape, FM and AM, searching on net also doesnt say anthing about that resistance thingy or selection of input source stuff, all DIYs i came acorss also was just connecting 4 pins to 3.5mm jack,
so anybody have any experience of aux in through ip bus port on pioneer and will hitting the CD button will give preference to input from the ip bus port rather the CD in the CD player itself?
couple of pics of ipbus for reference, the bule port is ip bus port

Regards,
