Yeah jolion is a very rare sight. But so is hrv. Almost all havals on road seem to be h6.

It is the same engine as the new 7th gen city that's available abroad. Which is also only a tiny bit better in the lower compression ratio model (like in the local hrv) compared to the old 1.5 in the 6th gen city. Hrv is effectively a crossover version of 7th gen city.

It's clearly limited to 180kph. So why did Honda make a physical meter that shows 220kph?

Almost every manufacturers does this like Grande having 240km/h gauges.
No clue why they do that; so it looks uniform maybe.

They're offering garbage engine here, and it's a stonic sized vehicle. They think putting a honda badge on a crap will make people buy it.

I used to think like you. But after owning the first vehicle which has 360 camera totally changed my perspective. It's a very useful feature. You can park in tight spaces without help. You can make turns in areas where you can't see the objects that could hit the rims, etc. Heated seats are also useful in extreme cold days of Islamabad. Yes, sunroof is useless feature. Not sure why companies offer this.

its high time we ditch the big 3...come on guys; if isuzu 1.9 can come in 1.05 crore, toyota must cut by 20-30%. their Fortuner's 2.7 are still nearing 160 horspower. man, they are living in medieval ages! in 30 years they couldnt do the foundary for the old engine?? i am sure pakistan has this much casting capabilities.

Toyota has very high profit margin tbvh so does honda. They've stripped the civic still costs more than 1cr. Isuzu launched the latest gen with all features for 1.3cr and revo is way too exp. Same goes for corolla 11 year old but still costs 76 something. These big 3 have looted for a very long time

No matter how much you hate to say this but even today, you take out a Hilux, Yaris, Corolla, City or even Civic with a for sale board, the shelf life of car with a reasonable demand is max 24hrs to 72hrs. People still have "can't go wrong" with these brands mentality.
Sold two Grandes in last 3 years, both of them got sold within 24hrs with the demand I wanted.

It's similar most places for Japanese brands, particularly Toyota and Honda, I can find a 2017 sonata/malibu/passat here for significantly less than an accord from the same year. The engines and transmissions just last longer, EVs are a real threat to Japanese auto industry because electrification is gonna render this advantage obsolete. Japanese cars aren't world leading in either design or driving dynamics, their usp is reliability with internal combustion engine (and it's pretty real, even insurance builds this factor in here)

What do you think about Haval? Ridiculous profit margins selling the h6 hev at super high price. Abroad it costs much less than a Japanese car. What about pathetic Sorento and Sportage prices ?

So I’m not sure why some people start lecturing the Japanese for earning profit when Koreans and Chinese are earning similar or more profit than them. Remember globally Japs cost more than Chinese n Koreans usually.

Competition no matter who is good for a market. And market dictates who is in profit .

Globally revo and fortuner come with tons more features here there's nothing. Globally they're 2 gens ahead for corolla here were 11 years into the same thing with absolutely 0 modern features. Same for civic 1cr with pump seats. Chinese weather you like them or not they don't strip any feature. Same vehicle everywhere. Isuzu latest gen with all features costs about 30 lack less than a Toyota why so.

Your point was Japanese are earning a profit how dare they earn a profit in their business. And you conveniently ignored the Chinese and Koreans are earning more profit or at least as much as them with their overpriced cars.

Toyota cars are not stripped. Half a decade or so ago maybe. Their latest offering is Cross and it has full adas not really stripped down. Only HRV was.

Sure this change is brought by more competition and Chinese, Koreans, etc are a welcome addition.

But your point is how dare Toyota earn a profit. They should give out cars on charity while others are allowed to earn profit ?

Toyotas are not fully stripped out ..only some hondas are (hrv hybrid is still decently featured compared to civic or petrol hrv mainly due to the increased competition from haval and cross) so honda had to give somethings to compete, their decade old formula of giving no features wouldnt have worked now(in this crossover market).. Isuzu even with 40 lacs less can not compete with Toyota revo this quickly it will need time where it would have to show its durability and pass the test of time ..toyota is the market leader in suvs and 4by4 trucks every ngo,govt organization uses Toyota made vehicles so that is in itself a level of trust that is made over years of unmatched reliability and durability.. now Isuzu also may be good but the dealership network across the country will need expanding same level as Toyota and some time without any issues then it may be considered on the same level as Revo.
