Has anyone compared the back seat of cross with HRV. Which can possibly seat 3 people or is less cramped

Cross is cramped , hrv is far better for rear seats the middle one is raised so not that good for longer journeys

I recently went to see both of them in showroom. Cross looks cramped but its seats (sitting area) is much larger which makes it look like less leg space however in reality its fine. HRV seats on the other hand looked small (suitable for kids), but with more leg space. However middle seat in HRV was very uncomfortable.

Yes my head touched the roof when I sat on the middle seat, and the seats are small.

Test drove the hrv hybrid today and i noticed the car to be little heavy/sluggish while driving in ev mode when needing to accelerate the pick is weak, you really have to push the pedal to get some response .. The car was in normal mode during this test while in sports mode the response gets slightly better but not a huge difference and when it switches to engine the noise can be heard very much inside cabin it may be more then the corolla cross(im not sure though)..the center of back seat is hard and you start to feel the hardness even at the start of the drive... on long journeys it would become really uncomfortable ..the ac dials and speedometer is good and the color on the ac dial turns blue when decreasing the temp and red when increasing something which is missing in civic even though it has dual zone and this hrv hev has single zone still the background light is there idk how Honda specs their features ..overall its an okay car i would most probably go for Haval 1.5t in this budget.. the salesperson was telling that if you pay 1 lac pkr honda will install bridgestone tires on the car .. and imo they should give them with the ex factory price like other brands .. tire noise is very much there inside the cabin even at low speeds maybe with non general tires it may improve. so that's my review with this new hrv hev. And to add The bonnet is very wide you really have to be care full when parking beside other cars.

Hot take alert!!

Choosing HR-V over base Civic Oriel is wise decision. Cheaper or minor difference in pricing depending on variant you choose of HR-V. Plus it has way more features compared to bare bones civic which has halogen headlamps. Did Honda just cannibalize sales of Oriel?

Civic is a C-segment sedan while HR-V is a B-segment crossover. I don't think there would be any cannibalization. I don't think most people in Pakistan go with a smaller segment car just because it has more features.

No comparison of civic oriel with HRV.

Civic is retaining its sales in consistent numbers.
HRV is competing to get some ingress in the market

Advice needed please.
My budget is almost 10 million. Daily travel for office (round trip) is 8 km.
Confusion between the vehicles to buy:
a) MG-HS PHEV
b) Haval Jolion HEV
c) HRV e-HEV
d) Haval H6 (petrol variant)
Do i really need EV/PHEV versions Or any ICE (Pertol) type will be sufficient for me?

No you don't need an HEV for that travel. 8km is nothing.

What is your preference here? You're considering hybrids so I assume you prefer an electrified powertrain?

If this isn't going to be your first or only car, you can get an EV in that price range and not have to worry about charging for a couple of weeks. Atto 3 is a safe option but there are new entrants like the Omoda E5 and the Jaecoo J6 in your price range as well. MG4 EV is just slightly above your budget range (and is a hatchback), but it is a well respected model at least internationally.

If this is your only car, then the MG HS PHEV isn't a bad option either since it also have decent enough EV only range. Forthing Friday is technically in this range as well but there's barely any info about it out there. The H6 PHEV seems like the best available option at the moment but it's about 35% more than your budget.

If electrified is not your preference then that leaves the H6 1.5T or the Oshan X7 FutureSense as the best options in this price range.

H6 1.5t your daily commute is nothing, hybrid isn't required at all and h6 looks way better than others and has got great features

Thanks. Currently, i have Altis 1.6.
want to shift and a little update myself.
Don't want to buy such thing/technology that, most of the time, remain useless for me.
