Check out the Haval Jolion or H6 - I know they're chinese but do test drive them / experience the interior and compare with sportage / hrv.

As comparative, sit in HRV first in the front and back seat, and then sit in Sportage or Tucson, and you will find them to be tighter / congested than HRV.

Regarding Haval / jolian, I don't have any idea about them and also I am not interested in them.

However if you sit in Oshan Future sense (5 seater) the space is quite a lot , more than HRV or any other such 5 seater cross over.

And yes , I would recommend the hrv to you , and my reasons are:
1. Nice to drive , light steering response, you can see half of the bonnet so it makes for easy drivability.
2. Lot of sitting space in the back and in the front. A lot (i mean a lot) of leg room in the back even if the drivers seat is adjusted backwards.
3. Up to date design (new design) which is currently in the markets worldwide.
4. Better fuel average as compared to other aspirated 1.5 engines.
5. High body clearance. you can easily go to Babusar or Raikot even and the body won't hit from the underside.
6. Nice pickup and the car is very very stable at 120 and you have the itch / feeling to speed up more.
7. Good ac response.

2. Do you think atlas will launch the hybrid version given the success of Corolla cross
3. Is the back seat really less congested than sportage. How does the back seat compare to the previous civic?

Yes. Back seat is for 02 persons as middle seat is raised and is not comfortable

average in city is 13.2 and long around 15.5 without ac.

Just got 17 from it going to gujranwala from lahore but max speed was 90.

The middle seat is raised normal sized people can bear it and fit in it. Sportage of Tucson middle seat is not raised

Considering how badly the HR-V failed in the local market, I doubt they'd be planning to introduce an even higher priced variant unless they can significantly bring the price down overall.

Atlas would likely be able to improve the sales considerably if they can reduce the price by PKR 1-1.5 million (basically replace the BR-V) and then launching Hybrid variants in the current price bracket would make sense.

Honda products are usually expensive than Toyota. I think HRV hybrid may touch 1 crore, or it could be slightly more than that.

nope honda atlas strips the cars of many features which are otherwise offered internationally then proceed to overprice the car(charge the same price as the fully equipped car which is offered internationally like in Malaysia ,Thailand)..the build quality is also subpar,thats the main reason of dead sales ..if they pull their pants in these areas they can make a dent to corolla cross sales otherwise not even a chance ..and even globally toyota hybrid are much more successful then hondas ..right now the hrv is competing in an unknown territory almost all buyers will prefer a corolla cross over it as its better build and gives fuel avg of a 660cc while power of a 1.8 with many features although little less space inside as its basically subcompact crossover suv. so Honda atlas should launch hyrbid hrv(which is called vezel) and put decent features not strip it and price it similar only then it can give competition to cross not a likely case ..right now they are making profit of off city sales.

Which car would you prefer Hrv or Peugeot 2008.

Between the PKDM HRV and the Peugeot 2008, on paper the Peugeot is a better product all around. In reality though the Peugeot comes with some baggage

1. Wet-belt engine
2. Expensive spares and service
3. Very few choices of service centers
4. Peugeot is not the most reliable brand.

That being said, PKDM HRV is not a fun car. Not only it isnt quick, it lacks some really useful features like cruise control of any sort. It is also not as frugal as the last gen from what i understand (NA to NA comparison). Greedy Atlas should've introduced prior gen HRV with all bells and whistles rather than this atrocity that they introduced. Would've been cheaper to get kits and parts, reuse the L15 engine from city (like in the prior gen Atlas introduced HRV imported from Thailand).

I would never buy the current atlas HRV at its current price. That being said I would not buy the Peugeot either. But if my life depended on it I would get the HRV. It might be bare and boring, but it is going to more reliable in the long run.

i am currently using Suzuki Swift GLX CVT (new PK Swift), if i replace the car with Stonic, would that be a upgrade and will i have more fun driving Stonic car. or Swift is better then Stonic.

Further i you could please guide me a little, i am planning to upgrade my Swift spark plugs, from normal to iridium. is that a good move?

I have actually owned a stonic. I sold it after driving for 174km. It is the most boring car i have ever driven. There is a reason the car didnt do well in Korea and even in most other territories and likely one of the reasons it was introduced here as the kits were likely not very expensive. Here are my reasons for selling:

1. The car is super hesitant in gear 1.
2. It has terrible acceleration. It has better torque and power under the hood, but poor acceleration. Poorer than Swift.
3. The interior is not very spacious, nor is it super comfortable. It might look good, but it isnt really.
4. The maintenance isn't economical either and required at 3 months for keeping warranty (IIRC).

The only thing it has going for it, over the swift, is the kit. It has front + rear parking sensors (front parking sensors are useful) + more features inside, arguably better plastics, auto dimming IRVM, TPMS (although basic). Of all the cars I have owned, it had the most flawless paint quality (compared to the likes of Honda BRV, City, HRV, H6 HEV, Peugeot 2008, Suzukis etc) of the cars i have owned over the years.

I own a swift as well, and i can say with a lot of confident it is a way more fun car to drive. It has the usual "suzuki" characteristics (plastics, paint quality), but it is a good all around car.

brother, i currently have Swift GLX 2022. what would be a decent upgrade for me? used civic X, Stonic, HR_V, Elantra 2.0.

my priority is comfort + reliability. please advise

I would go with elantra for the following reasons

1. Civic X: It is not the most comfortable ride around. As one gets older getting in and out of the car is kind of an issue. Plus it is not really built well. I drove a towards the end of Civic X era Oriel and it was not a enjoyable ride at all.

2. Stonic: The GLX is better than Stonic. I had a EX+, sold it after driving 174KM! (yes only 174, not 174000). It is very hesitant in low gears, the ride is just okay. It has a lot of kit; sun roof, front parking sensors, auto IRVM, but the ride is just not an upgrade over the swift. The best things about the stonic were its paint quality and tires and that is about it.

3. HRV: Too expensive and absolute disaster of a launch. I dont know what kind of mushroom Honda Atlas were on when they decided to simply remove cruise control; relegating the car to a city SUV. Apart from looks (that too i would say are subjective), it has nothing going for it IMO. Nothing that elantra would not have

4. Elantra: Has most kit, change tires for a better ride.

All cars listed above will have a high degree of reliability as they are built on tried and tested platforms. You can check mymotorlist for most common engine issues for all cars listed.
