Most definitely. And even at this price point I expect we will start seeing it on the roads soon.
And give it a year or two when the depreciation clause becomes applicable, it may become a serious threat to sportage,tucson etc
Is JDM suspension setup better than our locally modified setups coming in PKDMs?
No clue
Sketches of 2023 HR-V for US released by Honda. Looks completely different to the global model, but not in a good way.
Spy shots:
There are reports that US HRV is based on Civic platform instead of Fit, meaning it will probably have better space and engine options.
As per unofficial details, a 2L NA engine as in Civic will be the powertrain. Target product, are for example Seltos. Subaru Crosstrek, Chevy Blazer..
Any updates? With new Civic set to start well above 5 million, Honda has a huge gap to fill in the 3.5-5 mn range. Hrv seems to be the logical option.
As of now PKDM HRV is on hold .. Civic got the priority.
Again it will be older HRV.. not the new current generation, if it goes into production.
It could still be a viable option if a decently equipped version is launched around Stonic, mg zs price. They could also throw in City's 1.5 in the base model to drop the price even further.
3rd gen Vezel Modulo X concept
@waqasahmed03
@fazalwahab11375 is this one planned??
as of now we will have the 2nd generation HRV.
Really wish Honda would go for updating BRV instead. The brand has been in the market for nearly 5 years, established a road presence and is already the vehicle of choice (due to lack of such choice) in the 7 seater market. The new model around 4 million would be an absolute hit. Launching an HRV means unnecessary brand fragmentation and will show that Atlas doesn't really operate on any long term strategy, it's a flip flop approach to trying read the market constantly. If I was an Atlas shareholder I'd be dumping my stock.
Hope at least we get fully loaded up facelifted 2nd gen but I guess that'll dilute civic's value so.....
2nd gen is going to be a Colossal failure. The market is flooded with used Vezels and honestly its a bit of a bargain compared to other crossovers but still fails to impress beacuse its outdated AF by this point.
The same USDM HR-V has now been spotted in Japan and according to reports, this will be Honda's answer to Corolla Cross and will sit between HRV and CRV in its global lineup.
So essentially, US version of HRV will be sold in other markets with a different name, which makes sense because having a model exclusive to a single market makes no financial sense in this day and age.
USDM HR-V/unnamed global crossover finally launched in US. Rides on Civic platform and will probably share the 2.0 engine. It will compete with Corolla Cross and will be available as NA, Hybrid or Plug-in hybrid.
The same vehicle now launched in China as Honda ZR-V. Only major difference to US version seems to be 1.5t engine instead of 2.0.
USDM HR-V launched. [ ZR-V outside North America ]
USDM has engine from Civic XI. 2L NA 158HP/ 187NM [ across the lineup ]CVTAWD also available.Interiors copies Civic XI with minor changes.
I much prefer this version of the center console. Looks even more premium than the Civic.
