I don't drive above 120. HRV 's speed remains quite fixed at high speeds and I don't feel the need of a cruise control. a month back i went to kamonke from lahore my speed was 120 till kala shah kaku and rest of the way was less than 90. Kamonke is 83 km from my home one way .
I got 16.8 km per litre till i reached thokar but 16.3 was the average being shown when i got home. My hrv is 4300 km driven till now. Honda had told me that it would be better after 10,000 km running.
And by the way i owned a city cvt 1.2 also. It never gave me more than 13 in the city and 14 when going to kalam and back . At speed of 120 on the motorway, the engine used to scream in pain with 5 person (my family) sitting in it. The cvt reduces power in city 1.2 cvt quite a bit. But this is not the case with the 1.2 manual city. All persons which i have met who have the manual are very happy with the car and say it gives very good milage and does not lack in power.
Regarding HRV, other than the back middle seat, which is raised a bit and is not very comfortable for my grown up children whose turn is to sit on the middle seat, the rest I am quite satisfied. And by the way I purchased this for 84.50 with registration charges in 2023 august but now the price is quite low. Well i am not currently looking to sell it, as even though it is a cvt, it still drives quite well.
As it has double overhead cams, the pick of the car after 100 is very very good. its speed does not fluctuate even when climbing in the motorway, it decreases only a little bit, not like my brv manual.
dont' get me wrong , brv manual 0-100 times is 10 second and hrv is 12.5 seconds. but for long drives like till hunza my family prefers brv due to the extra seats and not the hrv. hrv is used till murree only,
