Is it the final product? I mean the impression I got was similar, like that's it? They slap on hybrid and nothing more. Makes me think these are just demos. But Honda usually disappoints so wishful thinking.

ADAS features being available in all variants is a huge bonus for non-hybrid models. Finally makes some sense to buy VTI & VTI-S at 75.5 & 78 lac respectively. Thoughts?

Well the biggest knock against was the lack of cruise control, and now they've given it the full Sensing suite AND reduced the price by 1 lac. Somewhere somehow an accountant made some error and nobody at Atlas caught on to it.

Their arrogance became their downfall.. launching a car missing basic features like dumb cruise control.. thinking it will sell cuz “mein te Honda he lesaan”… as if it is 2010 .

Basic ADAS isn't all that expensive anymore.

Basic ADAS suite (a camera and mm-Wave radar like used in Honda Sensing here) for this basic ADAS feature set costs between a few hundred to around $1000 depending on the quality and additional hardware.

In fact, there are now suppliers in China that provide features like Navigate on Autopilot within the $1000 price range.

Visited showroom yesterday. Once again disappointed. Due to congested space especially rear seating, no sun roof.

Salesman was constantly talking about torque and nothing else. No one was at showroom, no enthusiasm at all . Seems like half hearted launch

Honda's current lineup is pretty bleak. If they added more features to their cars as "facelifts" it would do them good. Like adding apple carplay and android auto to their top trim levels, giving the Honda City an extra airbag or led tailights from the Honda Grace etc or extra interior color schemes etc.

Every single day passing by with Atlas Honda not releasing the CRV, it is digging up its own grave.

This crap HRV will never sell, it basically is a hatchback at the price of much bigger competitors. I dont know who in their right minds would call this an SUV. And on top of that what were Honda designers smoking while designing it?

A similar case with Toyota. RAV4!

CRV and RAV4 if priced sanely will kill every single competitor.

Lol no they won't. CRV especially is nothing in front of Sportage and Tuscon. RAV4 Prime PHEV is the only RAV4 worth getting and it's way more expensive than Sportage/Tuscon

Lol no one's choosing Tucson and Sportage over a CRV here in Canada, Hyundai and Kia push the stock with cheap lease and financing deals here mostly at half the rate that Honda offers yet CRV and RAV4 still remain the top sellers in segment

CRV is also more expensive than the Koreans here, the base models have a 5k$ CAD price difference

RAV4 and CRV are top sellers in places where theres a lot of competition e.g North America.
Even if priced a little above Sportage/Tucson (CRV is bigger than both) Atlas would have been in competition whereas right now they have completely lost their market share to the Chinese and Koreans.

Launching HRV was a disastrous move if they thought they could compete with it.

Similarly Indus motors is surviving on Govt quotas and Yaris sales.

Well this ain't North America so what happens there won't apply here. Tuscon is for 125k. RAV4 would probably be for 135-140k. Nobody's buying that over a Santa Fe here in Pakistan.

cross actually is more equipped feature wise then hrv, sunroof, apple CarPlay etc. are all there while this hrv doesn't have these features only sensing is the main marketing point of hrv or maybe paddle shifters rest pretty basic but i guess it has more rear seat space then cross its only edge. ever since Haval has come in the market it would be difficult for hrv to get good sales its definitely late to the competition while cross got somewhat mediocre sales overall.

They both are more or less the same. One has advantage over other in almost every possible manner.
For me HR-V is more appealing over Cross. I choose more leg room in rear than useless sunroof in these climate. Head unit is replaceable. Sensing is reliable, non gimmicky.

In the end of the day, they still remain turds. Competition is miles better and ahead.

I have kept and owned a cross and honestly if I was at gunpoint and had to choose between HRV and Cross I'd go for HRV, Cross is just too cramped inside
