Planing journey from lahore to okara (suggestion)

I traveled on this route in summers of 2011.
The road conditions are good but you have to be cautious about the buses and other local transports.
Use proper safety gear (A helmet is must)
You'll be needing side mirrors.
Inspect your bike before leaving.
Dont drive too slow on the highway, drive at a speed which you and your vehicle can handle easily.

i came from lahore to sahiwal on gs500 last november speed was between 100 and 130km some times under100. and with out side mirrors coz my friend was with me and he was working of side mirror .we stayed at abbas hotel a little bit near pattoki and took tea.
