i m planning a by road trip from pakistan to UAE via iran, iraq, kuwait, saudi arabia wat u guys think is this trip possible or not nd tell me abt ur valuable comments nd advices actually we 4 frnds plan this trip to get the visa of these countries nd start our journey from lahore to last town near iran border taftan then enter iran ... cross iran nd enter iraq just a side then enter kuwait, saudi arabia to UAE ... plz help us nd guide us abt getting visas nd other legal docs required for the trip ... if any one wana join us in the trip he is also most welcome we use Toyota 4x4 Hilux Surf 3.0D for the trip waiting ur wishes ...

There is another way if you want to reduce miles on your odometer or for safety reasons. I live in the UAE & planning a trip to Pakistan. Apart from some, many of the quotes that were made to your inquiry were quite logical.

Anyhow, the other way to arrive in UAE is via Oman if you want to avoid other routes. Oman is on the East of the UAE & South of Gawader (Balouchistan). Small ships reach within hours to Iran or Balouchistan from Oman. It would be possible to arrive at Oman from Gwadar & then travel to the UAE by road. For these two countries visa should not be an issue. Inshallah you would not need any arms to protect yourself (lol) if you come through Oman.

On the contrary, is there any one to assist me with the government procedures on how to bring my vehicle to Pakistan through Gawadar or Iran & to take it back safely?

I have planning to go by road trip form UAE to PAKISTAN. i read all the remarkable comments, but the thing is that any one have travel before.
In our country we can easily travel form place to another area, like any where in PAK.
But its seriously traveling form one country to another country or through via other countries, then u can reach your motherland..
I have to travel form UAE to PAKISTAN. Its is a risky, any thing can happened.
Can any one help me little bit the procedure, i also tries to find out soon. and soon i announce the travel date.

by road you have to travel 1st south of your locaton upto ksa, kuwait then towards iraq & iran before entering into balochistan Pakistan, approx 4800 kms and visa for iraq & iran

or you can drive upto Oman and hire ferry service to gawadar and drive across Pakistan.

You shall obtain carnet'de passage for by road travel for UAE registered vehicle in Pakistan
