I have one with me in isb, no issues so far, since you live in the same city, I can guide you over maintenance, as long as you won't abuse it, you will love it. It will be super comfortable. Your only issue is going to be swallowing 7 kml local mileage

I do have a pajero in sight, it's in Lahore though. But a tight piece nonetheless. Also, is buying 2 vehicles an option? Buy an suv for 17 ish, and buy a daily driver for 13 ish. Or 16 14, whatever the ratio. Can that he an option

Get a Mitsubishi pajero...it is comfortable as compared to Vigo...2800 turbo will suit u..it is comfortable and will meet ur need

3. You are a Nomad you do not have time or resources for workshops. You save to cherish your travelling.

as other member suggested when pandemic is over hire a Vigo champ with driver for a day trip to nearest point over weekend, take family along. ride in rear seats for some time as passenger.

ask all questions for maintenance parts & interval etc etc from driver. Upon return ask family for their opinion. about the vehicle. [ comfort and ease of access to stretch without getting out ]

with all due respect to other members suggesting SUV earlier then 2010, you guys are technically better then the member @asifcae is nomad technically a novice. If & when he buy a vehicle of choice he will be heavily relying upon this forum for technical issue & input. Plus a trusted reliable workshop for his help as & when needed.

1- well i take family along once a month at least... but i am planning to take them on longer road trips up north as they r growing now and also planning some trips for my parents...
2-daily commute distance is zero... i live where i work and only travel on weekends from islamabad to taxila and wah max.... 5 working days my car is just standing basically .... mayb 5-6 kms drive maxx....
3. yes indeed i want reliability no time for khawari in workshops i am old now hahahahah 38 hehehehehe...

yes sure after pandemic (Allah knows when that will be) i will try this rent a dala wala experiment... but my company has many dalas both paki vigo champ and older Thailand models and we have used them quiet often...

comfort is compromised definitely ....

but surely i am in process of this experimentation.... hahahaha actually dala requirement is mostly governed by my choice... i like that truck look rater than SUV..

so much so that even if i had 3-4 karor in my wallet (dream on) i wud buy a revo rather than a V8 Land cruiser....

Age is just a number, in his budget, a mint early 2000s is possible, a 2010 onwards would be in compromised condition.
Vigo is never an option as a family car, the suspension can be dealt with, but the seating positions are highly annoying

Well, Asif Brother, if you are planning to buy a hilux Vigo, so i would advise you to go for a clean 2009 Thai vigo, Isb Registered. We have 4 vigos, i have driven the Pakistani ones aswell but they are very stiff and you will get tired driving it.

A 2006 to 2009 Vigo will give u 7 to 8 in city and somewhat 9 on long. A 2009 excellent condition would cost you 36 lacs. Yearly token would be 10 to 12 k. If lahore registered it would be 19 to 22k.

If you ask me, i would advise u to go for a 2011 or 2012 that would cost 40 to 42 lacs. Dont be scared of the taxes. They are cheap. A 2011 would hove u 8 to 9 km with ac in city and 10.5 on long. Spend 2 or 3 lacs extra but get an excellent condition vehicle. Inspect it through Pakwheels.

Lastly, The ride quality is of PK Vigo is terrible. It also slips while braking. It doesnt stops. The plastic in interior is cheap, the seats are stiff.

Grey imports are not for beginners, the have emissions related parts that require regular maintenance, mostly parts aren't available new.
It is better to purchase a pkdm vehicle which has maintenance history and is built purposely for our fuel and conditions

apni oukat mai rehna (matlab budget hai). idher 75000 advisor hain sab ki apni apni choice hai paisa apka fuel apka maintenance cost apki zara daykh bhal ka paisa lagana. Moula sukhi rakhay jo bhi choice ho Moula apkay naseeb sai behtreen dai aur rakhna istemaal karna naseeb karay.

Double cab has only single disadvantage the rear seats are like school benches.

Ap jo bhi final karain apni budget limit mai decide karye ga sir.

Pakistan k newspapers aur TV channels tou bata rahay hyn eid sai pehlay eid chal rahai hai. mout ka beemari ka koi khuf nahi hai ajeeb bullet proof kom hai yeah

I have driven my departments vigo and a jdm 1990 single cab 4x2. I felt the 1990 single cab was more comfortable while driving. All the members suggesting a rented vigo are correct. Take them in a little longer tour. Its extremely uncomfortable. You can get a good 3rd pajero in this budget and its the most comfortable. You can get a little older prado. You can also get a little older surf. Suvs are tough cars and a clean piece will not give you a lot of hassle.

My suggestion is that you don't spend 3 mil on a vehicle which can't be used as a daily runner keeping in view comfort and luxury. I recommendation to buy a bj40 and rebuild it accordingly to your use only for mountain and off roading. Bj 40is beast and king of mountain and extreme off roading. Keep a car for daily use

Naveed bhai thankx for ur suggestion... only issue is that i dont have any technical know how abt offroading vehicles .... so building a vehicle will be a full time job for me... i dont have that kind of time available unfortunately... isi liay bs short cut laga kar kisi stock vehicle ko target kar raha hun....

ab jo aik point tang kar raha hai wo ha comfort of dala....
