Depends on personal needs I suppose.
People in need of boot space should go for platz. Vitz would be better at handling bcuz its a hatchback.
Weight of Platz would ofcourse be more than vitz, so less acceleration and fuel economy...although not much of a difference.
The only thing that makes me think platz was designed for ladies is the fact that the vanity mirror behind the sun-shade is on the driver's side.
