DCTs have to be used differently as they work differently than other automatic transmissions we're used to.
I don't need to own a dct vehicle to know how a dct works right? Besides, hundreds of people have complained about dct problems. Just because you haven't faced any (which I doubt) doesn't mean the problems don't exist.

Alsvin has a wet clutch and haven't noticed any problems with the transmission. What you're likely talking about is the infamous dry DCT in the JDM Honda Vezel hybrid which was often the source of a lot of issues and has given a bad reputation to DCT in Pakistan.

In my opinion DCTs are fun to drive.... I travel a lot, like a loooot.... Certainly DCTs are little different to deal then the CVTs,
For example you can't put a forward moving manual transmission vehicle in reverse gear, because it's not goid, it will blow your gearbox, so definitely there are certain ethics to use every technology, designing, creating and then put it in mainstream of a Vehicle requires tremendous sort of experience, engineering and capital, so do anybody be that foolish to produce like hundreds of thousands of vehicles with faulty transmission?

Get a khota Corolla grande. Called khota for a reason. And you won't have to worry about any breakdowns/faults. Can't go wrong with a Toyota. No 1 car company for a reason.

I own a 1.6 Altis that I daily and a Mark 2 that we've had ever since we shifted to Pakistan. Truly reliable cars that won't break down. Not expecting this kind of reliability from any other brand. The khota part sounds a little harsh, they are great simple cars. Just lack a little personality, but great commuters to go from A to B.
