Poor Mileage and AC problem in Wagon R 2017

I have just bought Wagon R 2017(2nd hand) from bank and have some questions :
1. I have heard that suzuki gives 3yr warranty for Wagon R, how to claim warranty?, do they give any warranty card or we just need to go to any registered suzuki dealer if car have some issues?
2. My car is only giving me 10KM/L, initially i thought it was due to 16inch low profile tires but i get this tyres replaced with 13inch General tyres euro tycoon, car drive improves greatly but still no improvement in mileage. I used caltex 10w-40 as engine oil.
3. How to get my car inspected from suzuki, all documents are with bank. How much they will charge me? Which dealer is good for such cases in Karachi? I live in North Nazimabad.
4. When i turn on AC of car, it gives me low pitch sneaking sound and also AC cooling is not up to mark.

"10w-40" This seems to be the main culprit....go for 0w-20 (SGO) as recommended by Suzuki Manual for k10 B engines
For AC check for Gas leakages and level if it is working fine or not

goto suzuki at block B - the road link between KDA & Zia Uddin Hospital you need not to go in details but report your issue of ac squeel sound & poor fuel average. Ask them for engine oil grade for change.

I was using 5w30 , but now changed to 10w40 and the thing i've noticed is mileage of the car has reduced noticeably ... so the viscosity DOES matter : /

I confirmed from Pak Suzuki Employee that new Wagon R delivered from factory are filled with Helix 10W-40 engine oil.

This is thicker than what the car manufacturer suggests i.e. 0W-20 and its written in owner manual that this is the best oil to use for optimum performance and best fuel economy.

The thing is that 0W-20 is not easily available as it is fully synthetic. Suzuki Dealers sell the SGO 0W-20 for Close to Rs 3900.

If its available then get it. If you can not find this oil then the closest to it is 5W-30. This should also get more or less the same fuel economy.

My new Wagon R just under 200Km driven has given me 13.5 kpl with the prefilled 10W-40 oil. I drive with a light foot and always fill the tires with 36PSI (all 4 tyres). Its driven within city with AC ON all the time.

Suzuki gives 2 years warranty for Wagon R. You just visit any dealership, they will check their records by engine number. Warranty will be exactly two years starting from day of delivery. However you can extend warranty for two more years i.e. Total 4 years but they may reject extension if you've not perform regular services from authorized Suzuki. They rejected my application of extended warranty for the same reason.

My wagon r 2017 model is giving sometime 15 kpl and on motorway/highway 17kpl. Average mostly depends upon driving habit. It gives different average under same conditions for different drivers. Oil also affect average. I had been using 10w-40 but I'm thinking to switch to 5w-30 as suggested by many on this forum.

Visit the authorized dealership, they will check their records by engine number. They may be able to help you even if you don't have the documents. Also, any previous receipt, delivery challan may also help.

Suzuki Wagon R VXL 2019, I have got 16.50KM/L average with full time AC and short route when driving 2000RPM 60-65 speed & on 80-90 speed 2500RPM got 13.50KM/L average. Tyre size is 175/70/R13 Bridgestone B250.

Brother I have also WagonR vxl Pakistani MI 2018 model and my WagonR R fuel average is 16 to 17 km in Lahore and 20 to 21 kilometre on motorways this can possible only do these things with your car number 1 is you please change your spark plugs with ngk iridium plugs and your Tyres size is 145 80 and the tyre pressure is 32 can you please change your airfilter with Suzuki genuine air filter after these additions Inshallah you will receive 15 to 17 km in city fuel average with the light food and 14 to 15 km with heavy foot and my Wagon R is 15 km in city with ac you please do these things with your car Inshallah you will receive good mileage
