i think default clocks of 8600GT are 540MHz core and 1400MHz memory.. i used nVidia's nTune software.. my 8600GT was stable up till 693MHz core and 925MHz memory and 1770MHz shader.. these results vary on different PCs depending on output of power supply.. by the way, keep GPU temperature below 80 degrees..

Bhai dont want to hurt anybody, but, i stay away from the war games, most of them are anti-arab, its like a good brain-washing playing these games, i have bought very good ones but inside when i see villains talking arabic or arabic accent english, i simply take the game out and dont play it again just my opinion, otherwise i even enjoy the Bruce Springsten song "born in the usa"

n if the 9600 series is latest than why 8800 gt is so much popular n expensive means there is a difference of 4000 rs almost...
n if we compare 8800 gt with 9600 gt 1 gb than which is better coz 9600 gt is only 600rs more expensive than 8800 gt...

butt why 8800gt is more popular than other series n why so much difference in price. it should be less in price coz 9600 series is new but it is competing the price of 9600 gt 1gb.
why is it so???
is 8800 gt better than these 9600 gt 512 n 1gb???

8800GT was the high-end card of GeForce 8 series and 9600GT is low-end card of GeForce 9 series.. thats why 8800GT still costs more..

both cards have almost same specifications but 8800GT is better in performance as compared to 9600GT due to differences mentioned below..
shader processors of 8800GT=112
shader processors of 9600GT=64
texture fill rate of 8800GT=33 billion/sec
texture fill rate of 9600GT=20 billion/sec
